Whiskey & The Wolf

I returned to whisky and the wolf once again, had an great experience. The hamburger was zaza! and the chicken wings were cooked to complete perfection I also loved the French fries crispy and Hot! The cocktail was also very good! the White Whiskey Sour featuring Four Roses bourbon, lemon, simple syrup, and egg white I'll have it again. The restaurant remains welcoming, with movies playing on the other TVs and sports at the bar. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 PM, offering $5 well cocktails. As always, the service was very fast, efficient, and friendly.

I had heard from friends that this place has great food and also noted the high ratings on Yelp. My mom and I decided to stop in for an early dinner. Honestly, the location itself wouldn't have persuaded me to try this spot. It's in a tiny strip mall next to a convenience store. Once inside, it's a dark intimate bar/restaurant with retro vibes and 80s music playing on the sound system. It's very casual and comfortable with a bit of "edge" to it. We were told we could seat ourselves and selected a booth against the wall. The menu has enough options to accommodate many tastes and yet not so many to be overwhelming. Our server was helpful in helping me decide between a Turkey Reuben or Chicken Sandwich. I ordered the Seared Chicken Sandwich with havarti cheese and arugula, with a lemon aioli condiment on the side and French Fries. My mom ordered macaroni and cheese. I loved my chicken sandwich! It was a generous portion and the havarti cheese gave it a tasty flavor. The arugula was a pleasant change from boring lettuce and the lemon aioli added the perfect flavor to complement the sandwich. The only thing that could have made it better would be ripe tomatoes, but not complaining. The fries were amazing- not too crisp or too thin; perfect! My mom's macaroni and cheese was beautiful with bits of chives. I had a bite and thought it was delicious! My mom found it a bit too cheesy and rich, but I reminded her that's what most people want! Wish I'd taken pictures but we were hungry. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place for a casual and delicious meal. Also picked up a carryout menu...

Ordered a burger and sweet potato fries with a side of the broccoli. All was yummy! I would skip the extra side of broccoli as while it's good, I'd save the money. Burger hit the spot, was just charred and juicy still enough. Dipping sauce for sweet fries was interesting. Friendly and fast service

First time there so we stopped for dinner. Upper-scale bar food of burgers, salads, and sandwiches. The wife ordered their double/bacon cheeseburger and I had their perch sandwich. Very good and priced fairly. Service was polite and courteous and business was very clean. Drinks from the bar area are pored nice. Why three stars. With the rather dark lighting and the very small printing on their menu description of items it is rather hard. We definitely would go back.

Always great food and great service. I'd step on my grandma on Christmas morning to get one of their potato croquettes. I wish the place was a little bigger. It's always slammed. They have amazing happy hour specials... if you can get a seat. I love that they have such a great reputation and stay busy, but it makes it hard to just "pop in" for a quick bite.

Small, relaxed environment. We seated at the bar for full service. The staff was pleasant, the service time was reasonable. The prices, I believe are good for the quality and amount(s) given. The taste of the food was REALLY GOOD and I'm super picky. I DO RECOMMEND this establishment and plan to return.

Was on our way home from Anderson IN to Cleveland OH. Stopped here for lunch. Don't let the appearance dissuade you. It's small. The food was fantastic. The music they played was some of my favorite 60's music. April our bartender recommended the smashed cheese burger and the French Dip. Both were excellent. Needless to say we almost forgot to take pictures! If this place were closer to home I'd definitely become a regular.

We were on our way home from Detroit toCleveland and consulted Yelp for dinner suggestions and this place came up with outstanding reviews.Do not let the outside appearance deter you from eating here! The interior is warm and inviting, and the food miles above standard bar fare.We began with drinks (I enjoyed the New OldFashion) and the review recommended Potato Croquettes. Delicious!We each had one ofThe Prime Beef sandwich choices and they were moist and tender, and very tasty.We ended with the Bananas Foster and left completely happy and satisfied.Our server, Erica, was friendly and accommodating.A very pleasant surprise, all around!

Great food. Great service. One early since by 6:30 pm people were lined up out the door. Bathrooms and restaurants was super clean. Parking is tight. Desserts are homemade.

Friendly wait staff! Great Old Fashioned! The food was delicious, great sweet potato fries, great burgers! Fun & relaxing atmosphere!
