Whip N Dip

When I'm fond of a place, I tend to nickname them. "Whippydip" is a pet favorite of mine. If you want an old fashioned hot fudge sundae- you will get it here! The real deal!!! Growing up on the West side, I had been blessed with an abundance of little ice cream stores that resemble this! It's busy too, so you know they've got the good stuff. Service is fast and adorable (some very sweet teens working) and I even got sprinkles! Yes, I am rather judgey on hot fudge sundaes- and this one was amazing! The location is just outside the Geneva on the lake western arch. Literally right in front of it and across the convention center! A man talking to me in line said he comes here for the banana splits- that they are perfect!! The selections are change and each one is exceptional. Of note- butter pecan- my friend is picky and we both raved about it! Just wow! Like many Geneva on the lake locations, this may close during winter. If your feet find you at Geneva on the lake during spring/summer/early fall- please stop here for an old fashioned moment of childhood happy! Highly recommend.

Good casual and very busy ice cream place in the heart of Geneva on the lake. Plenty of parking but heavy crowds during peak season!

Cool place near the lake. It makes for a nice place to cool off. Whip N Dip is right off the main road in Geneva going to the lake so it's popular. Expect to wait in line. The wait is worth it for the good and cheap treats. For a small place they have lots of flavors. It has a few that are non dairy. The best is the vegan mint chocolate chip made with almond milk. It tastes like real ice cream. It's about $5 for a scoop. This has a strong mint flavor and is refreshing in the hot summer. It has a few tables in front. It also has a drive thru for those who don't want to stay. The tables are shaded by umbrellas.

This place is excellent. A couple of small twists in a coup comes with upside down cone. Also had a chocolate milk shake with banana. Excellent. The flavor was amazing and not to thick. Very friendly epicene working with quick service. This is a must stop either coming or going to the strip.

Nice ice cream stand. People stood 6' apart waiting to order at the counter by using a speaker. Tho the ice cream cones had the paper sleeve on them, they were pushed through the window upside down in cups. We sat at an umbrella table. Tables did not seemed to be wiped off. The breeze was blowing. People were smiling. A few wore masks before eating.

An amazing ice cream stand. WOW! My wife had the Dole pineapple soft serve which I tasted and it was a religious experience. The pineapple taste was to die for. It was so refreshing on a warm day. I had the nutter butter sundae which was fantastic. Vanilla ice cream with peanuts butter, nutter butters crushed up, whipped cream, and a cherry. The ice cream it self was outstanding. My son had the frozen party cup. He loved it. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The service was awesome Fast and large severing ...the trip there was well worth it... the price for Large cone's was great... my favorite of course is chocolate with some fudge dripped over the cone and Yes sprinkles

Always very GOOD SERVICE !!!! Very friendly Staff but VERY HIGH PRICES and they always listen to your whole order !!!!

We have visited this place several times on vacation and I will say they have awesome ice cream. My family tried everything from butter pecan to fruity pebbles to buckeye and were all great. Also there servings were very generous and prices were good.
