Our close family members invited for lunch us as we passed through from Pittsburgh. Outstanding hospitality and service. Our luncheon choices were delicious from appetizers to our tasty shared desserts. Patio service was above average and always greeted with a genuine smile. The newest member of the Club's management team graciously stopped by to introduce himself - very thoughtful on a busy Saturday afternoon. Geo TangalakisNovi/Northville, MI

From the food, to the staff, to the grounds of Westwood Country Club, this place is amazing. I have been here for so many different types of events, it truly is a great location for whatever you are needing - wedding, banquet, shower, memorial service, the list goes on and on. I think the reason that it is so great for such a variety of events is because of the staff alone. They are extremely nice, helpful, and are there for whatever you may need. From the kitchen staff, to the valet, to the golf pros, if you are in need of help or getting an answer to a question, if they can't answer it themselves, then they will help you find someone who can.

Came here on a hot sunday afternoon for a baby shower. At first, at no fault to the review its self, stumbled onto a road killed squirrel while driving up Westwood's driveway...1. It's posted at 14 mph and 2. It was just an empy field on both sides. So, unless there is a serial squirrel killer staging squirrel deaths, some ass hat must have been going way too fast and/or didn't care to stop. Annnnnway...I thought the country club was very pretty, along with the penny it must cost to be a member here. Service was lacking. Bartender was not friendly. One of the servers looked frustrated, rushed, and frantic constantly. Another younger server took my sisters plate without first offering to take it when she wasn't finished. They didn't have coffee ready until long after the desert station was presented. They did a poor job of clearing our appetizer plates off the table, also. Our meal was just okay, and included a filet, shrimp, a vegetable medley. 7 out of 8 women at our table complained about the rare steak and didn't touch theirs. I ate mine because its a fricking filet and I'm poor, I usually eat my steak medium rare, and I loathe food waste. So, my mom rolled the steaks in a napkin and shoved 'em in her purse for her to cook later. (We're hillbillies, I know). Overall, I thought it was a nice event and thought my food was decent, but I knocked off the stars due to an overwhelming majority of my table being unable to eat their food, paired with the not-so-excellent service. P.S. Squirrel carcass was never disposed of two hours after we had first arrived; its tail blowing bittersweetly as if to remind me of why I don't belong with people who go to country clubs.

My son's soccer team had their soccer banquet here this year and last year. The place is always clean , never dirty, the staff is always friendly, and as always willing to get you whatever you need. Most of the staff were high school kids and were professional. The food selection was great. We had leftover food. The meat wasn't dry and was full of flavor and moist. The potatoes were my favorite part of the meal. We had two different pastas to choose from and they even had extra sauce on the side in case we wanted to add more. The salad was absolutely fantastic, and multiple dressing to choose from. There is plenty of parking and if there is snow on the ground, you don't have to worry about slipping on ice because the driveways and sidewalks are always clear. The drink selection was great. We had wine, water, soda and beer. The banquet room was huge and was plenty of room to spare. I hope we have the banquet there next year too.

Attended a wedding and reception as a groomsman. A weekend-long celebration topped off by a patio ceremony and a great reception/dinner. FOB was a long-time member so the staff went all out, and it showed. Nothing was left out and no one went wanting for anything. Really disappointed I didn't bring my clubs: the course is a great track and one that should not be missed when you get the invitation to play.
