West Side Bakery

I will travel from the Cleveland area to take in all the amazing holiday goodies from this bakery! I hadn't been down in a few years, and I'm now reminded why The Westside Bakery must be our family's go-to bakery destination!

Friendly staff, some vegan options daily. Reasonable prices. Limited seating, but outdoors, there are a few tables as well.

A nice assortment of baked goods served with a smile! The staff here is very friendly and chatted with my husband and I amicably while we tried to decide what to choose from the pastry case on Monday morning. There were several beautifully decorated cakes and other niceties but we opted for a chocolate croissant and a chocolate cherry shortbread, along with a coffee to go. They serve Caruso's coffee which I love so I couldn't pass that up! The croissant was pretty good once we got home and warmed it up, and my shortbread was good as well (of course the coffee was excellent). A little pricier than some of the other places in town but all in all a good experience. They have a calendar of homemade soups that intrigued me so we will definitely be back to check out their lunch! Thank you, West Side :)

Stopped by here to purchase some desserts for later in the day. Didn't have time to make anything myself. I was able to park near the entrance. The bakery is doing an excellent job of following COVID safety protocols. A mask is needed to enter. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of items I could purchase. Everything was very fresh. There were unique baked good too. Excellent customer service! My items were packaged very well. Everyone I purchased desserts for very much enjoyed eating them. Gave West Side Bakery the credit.

Small place hard to find, plus not much parking...but it is a quick in and out placeused to live in Akron, been gone most of my life, but if travel close try to get there even though all the family is gone.Came across this little bakery because I love rolls in the morning.Buy one for the day when there and ALWAYS extra to take home.The people are good to work with, and the rolls are great!Cinnamon are my favorite, but the scones are good also. This time bought a pie also....

Every single thing I have gotten here is outstanding!! Amazing key lime pie and strawberry rhubarb pie, delicious cookies and friendly employees. Keep up the amazing job.

Excellent baked goods and decorating that is exquisitely artistic. Very good lunch food, as well!

The baked goods are great. The earlier you go the better because they sell out of the good stuff fast.

I stopped in at 10:15 on 4/18 after a nearby doctors appointment. Ive shopped many times before. This time there were no pastries available. Full 1/2 of the cases were empty. One of the scone varieties were undersized. The blueberry scones were scooped with an ice cream scoop. I did buy two pecan rolls that were a big disappointment. There was a light sprinkling of pecan surely not enough to be pecan rolls. All in all this was a very disappointing experience. I may try again in the future, but I certainly won't go out of my way to shop there.
