Old Skool Fridays packs the patio!
Not a fan of white claw. These aren't bad I could drink them on a beach on a hot day.
I took an impromptu margarita tour on Adams St. and Laurie's is the winner!
Home sweet home baby.. For now
From the smell of this place, I can't tell if this is just a decoration, or if it's a show bill for the night's activities at Wesley's.

A chill spot to have a cocktail or a night cap. Good vibes, good music, good service. They often have food trucks outside to satisfy your cravings. A good spot when you are downtown.

We love Wesley's. It's our go-to "locals" spot in the Arts District in downtown Toledo. I've been coming to here for decades- way before Old School Fridays on the patio! (Our favorite) The faces are familiar, the drinks hit hard, & there is usually a food truck/cart outside for the munchies! Go check out Wesley's Bar & Grill. You will be a regular from there on out!

How have I not reviewed Wesley's?! Lady bartenders are all awesome! The guys... Meh. They have a great back patio area with (and this is what makes it) rocking chairs. The happy hour is good and in my opinion (I have tried them all) they have the best bloody Mary's in the city. When on Adams we always stop here. My only complaint is their juke box. It's one of those expensive online deals and when they do play music inside it is not piped outside. Outside ppl love music too.

Good job here although they need to take the grill part off as they only serve drinks. There is a full bar available. I remember they did serve food a long time ago. Very laid back atmosphere. Cool bartenders and a heck of a craft beer selection. This Singapore IPA they just got is delish.Weekends tend to attract the college crowd but I ll come hang with them to hear the old school hip hop they play every friday. Never paid over $4 for any beer and if you read my reviews you know I only drink high end beers. Come get one.

You know how they say, "sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name"? I definitely don't want that but it's nice that they know my drink ! This summer I got to visit Wesley's a few times. Very friendly and cozy during the week nights. Friday night is busy with ole school music. Staff are friendly and personable. So are the regulars.

I made it to Ohio... kicking and screaming... but once I got there, I chilled out. Seriously though I went down to Wesley's one Friday August 12th to watch 2 friends of mine have a DJ battle. I was very skeptical of being in Ohio because my experience with this place outside of Cedar Point have never been fully comfortable. Wesley's changed my view about the entire state! Located just 5 minutes into Ohio from Michigan it is only a hop skip and a jump across the border. The decor is nice, the bar is big, and the summer time patio set up is solid gold and really made the night for me. Their beer list is extensive, and so cheap it is hard to believe they even make money. Oberon bottles or tap for 3 bucks, and if you're really on a budget shoot for the 1.25 stubbies of Mickey's. The crowd there was super fun, nice, and friendly which was new to me for Ohio. Every other time I have been there the people all seemed a bit pissed off (coming from a Detroit that should say something). What really blew me away about Wesley's is the bar's ability to bring out the partier in anyone. Coming from Detroit where the techno snobs roll thick, crowd the booth and chin-stroke, and dancing is a rare sight seen only about 4 times a year. Wesley's was a breathe of fresh air! Everyone was cheering on the drop of a hot track, nonstop dancing, and smiles from the back fence to the front door. The promoters of the Friday and Saturday nights there are acquaintances through a friend, and they are 2 really great guys and awesome DJ's. If ever roll through this city on a weekend stop in here and enjoy some good music with a great crowd. Fridays are funk night and Saturdays is house (Todd and Nate really shine when they bring the deeper soulful house) and techno.

How do I love Wesley's? Let me count the ways.1. Old-school setting. Tin ceilings, long, gorgeous bar, "You Will Do Better in Toledo" sign, etc.2. Friendly bartenders who always seem to find you and get your drinks quickly, even amid absolute chaos.3. Less harried atmosphere for more chill musical acts that are fun to watch. 4. Old school Fridays. Old School Fridays. OLD SCHOOL FRIDAYS!!! (aka my cardio)5. Awesome magical patio. When the night is right and you're outside and it's gorgeous and all your friends are there under those Christmas lights, not much is better. One of my favorite moments at Wesley's happened during Soundtrek 2012 when we were all singing along with Great Lakes Crew, who performed outside. 6. Not your typical Adams St. crowd...people from other neighborhoods tend to stop here and it's always nice to see new faces. Thanks, Wesley's...for being a good old stand-by!!!
