Village Inn Grill

Came here one Sunday summer morning with my parents on a roadtrip from NYC to Minnesota and this place was the only thing open for miles. 4 stars because the workers were very accommodating even if there was only 2 staff members. It seemed like there was a lot of locals, which solidifies the food. Service was a bit slow, but it makes sense. Although me and my parents felt a bit aware of the plentiful of stares, our server was very warm and welcoming. we felt very secure in a large town.

This is the place to go if you are looking for a delicious home cooked meal! The servers are very friendly and helpful, and don't forget desert! When I leave, I feel like I just ate a meal at mom's house! I especially love going in on Saturdays for all day breakfast. If you're looking to get full, the portions here won't disappoint!

Stopped here for lunch when we passed through this adorable little town. Very clean. On the waitress' recommendation, we ordered a Rueben and a burger. The burger was excellent, perfectly cooked and was served with their homemade potato chips. The Rueben was outstanding because of their fresh house-made corned beef. The service was great, and we may make the 2 hour trip again just to eat there.

We stopped here today for lunch after a visit to Schedel Arboretum ( which is beautiful and worth the visit!). We chose this place after reading many favorable reviews, and it didn't disappoint! We both had the Grilled chicken Lite Plate with sliced tomatoes and lettuce and a side of cottage cheese. It was delicious - the chicken was tender and seasoned just right. I definitely recommend a stop at this friendly small restaurant. There are a few cute shops nearby as well.

Emily and her staff are amazing! The food is top notch and portions plentiful for the price! Highly recommend!

I purchased the 1/2 pound cheese burger. It was very good. This isn't a normal preformed meat burger that taste like the ones you have at cheap places. This is good meat. They use great ingredients, and it was grilled to perfection. No red at all, nice and juicy. Highly recommend it!

While passing through to Cleveland from Chicago, we try to avoid rest area food options and seek out small diners. Village Inn Grill is just a quick detour from I90 and worth it. Great food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Located in a cute small town. Parking was limited but we found a spot around the corner.

Wonderful restaurant. We eat here once a week and the food is alway great. And waitresses are always friendly. And you have to try their pretzel bites so so good. Their fried pickles are also a favorite. Pretty much everything is great. :-)

Stopped at the Village Inn Grill for lunch today. We got their half-pound and quarter-pound hamburgers and their all-beef coney dog, substituted our fries for their shoestring sweet-potato fries with special sauce. Never have a bad meal here. Their pies are to die for but today we took a couple pieces for their maple bacon cheesecake to go! I was trying to eat it in tiny pieces so I could savor every bite. It didn't last as long as I wanted it to. Great place to eat. Waitress forgot to bring us our cole slaw then forgot our cheesecake. Went back in for the cheesecake. Never got the cole slaw. Love the owner and the food never disappoints
