I have driven past this place a trillion times and never paid it any mind. I thought it was only pizza tbh. A friend visited recently, really enjoyed and referred me. What a pleasant surprise it was. The food was really good and plentiful. We ordered a bunch but could have been fine with one meal (average about $25) and my family of 3 would have been full. We ordered chicken parm with penne and vodka sauce, clams with wine appetizer and chicken marsala with spaghetti and marinara. The marsala was the star but it was all very good. Each entree came with an iceberg salad and bread. We ordered take out and the customer service was unremarkable but all things considered we will definitely order again and try additional things. If I could give 3.75 stars it would be more reflective of my feelings but Yelp doesn't allow that.

This is a classic lyndhurst staple. It looks like they repainted the inside too, so it looks very clean and nice inside. Great pizza - we did a medium create your own. I got the meat raviolis with mushroom the sauce is really good and sweet. Comes with fluffy bread and starter salad. Everything is delicious and the waitress was so attentive! This is one of my family's favorite places so we will definitely be back.

Vicinato's has several very solid options for both appetizers and for the pizza itself, nice service, and quality that is a notch above some of the local competition. Overall a frequent go to place where you will consistently feel satisfied with your pizza and other options.

Great little Italian restaurant that always has very good sauce and bread. The cutlet sandwiches are always a great choice, and don't forget to get extra sauce on the side. The veal cutlet is my favorite thing on the menu, the soft bread, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomato are a great combination with the perfectly breaded and seasoned veal cutlet. Getting extra sauce on the side turns it into an even better sandwich, the bread soaks up the sauce and adds great flavor. Everyone is always so nice and you can tell everything is homemade.

Ken H. is a member of Club Molisani where the corrupt Judge Dominic Coletta, lawyers, cops, & others are also members, (YouTube: GinaCalabrese5.54) 7/23/24. Creative accounting. Check #59. $124. Customer: Tom. Phone # Area Code: 330-. I closed the check when Tom arrived to pick up his order. I matched the check # on the printed ticket w/the check # in the computer. The food order that was stated on the computer screen matched w/the food order on the printed ticket. The customer paid w/a credit card. If I remember correctly, he paid w/an American Express card. American Express charge a high percentage rate to a business that a business pays in their Credit Card Expense account. Later during the evening, Eric, (owner), stated that I closed the wrong check & that there wasn't a phone # on the check so Tom wasn't able to be called. Eric also stated that sometimes the checks "switch in the computer." However, the "switching" occurs after the check is closed. The next check in line then moves up to the area where the previous check was before it was closed. He also stated that he hoped that Tom, (Check #59), would come back because of the $70+ that would be adjusted on his account. A guest who was dining in had check # 58 or # 60, (one # away according to Eric). He was given the name, Tom. Tom's total, (Check # 59), was then changed to $50 + change. I don't care. None of my business. What I care about is that he involved me by stating that I made the error. The restaurant industry has been a part of my heart & soul since I was 18 years-old. I am currently 55. After my shift, I sent Ken H. an email & questioned if there was a possible glitch in the Toast software that could be checked so that it wouldn't occur again during my shift? Innocent question from an employee because I care about my work. On 7/25/24, Ken claimed that he swiped the email off of his phone so he didn't read the email. The email would still be listed w/in the Inbox of his email account. He obviously read my email because when Eric walked in, shortly afterwards on 7/25/24, he was furious. He asked where communication was lost & why I was involving myself in their business? What?! If he wanted to adjust a check, for whatever reason, he should have done that w/out involving me. He was very rude & disrespectful. I quit.I had a gut feeling about Eric shortly after I started working here. I typed it in my phone notes on the date of.On the good side, they did make me laugh & the employees are very nice. At the start of my shifts, I made my own white sauce & pizza at the table that is next to the salad bar using my organic ingredients. Ken asked me why I made my own pizza, using my organic herbs, because he adds herbs in his tomato sauce? I responded that I add my herbs directly to the pizza dough before I added his sauce. Maybe he ignored my words, but I doubt it. I'm posting my recipes here in case my pizza recipe is suddenly used by them. In addition, his friend, Judge Dominic Coletta, illegally gave my recipes to my father & brother after a fraudulent eviction. At Vicinato's, I baked my pizzas or gave it to Ken or one of the employees to put in the pizza oven:My Pizza recipe: I flatten the dough in the pan. I add my organic herbs & unrefined Extra Virgin Olive Oil directly onto the dough & spread it around the dough w/my hands, (very good for the skin). I then add tomato sauce. On top of the tomato sauce, I add mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. I then bake it crispy. My white pizza: I flatten the dough in the pan. I add my organic herbs & unrefined Extra Virgin Olive Oil onto the dough & spread it around the dough w/my hands. (+ my white/Alfredo sauce, opt). I add Mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. I then sprinkle my organic herbs on top of the cheese & bake it crisp. My white sauce that I also made at the table near the salad bar. I put hot water in my mason jar or a bowl. I then added my organic Cavatelli so it could cook. As it cooked, I used a separate bowl to make my white sauce. All organic Ricotta cheese, cream cheese, herbs, EVOO, (can be substituted with Avocado Oil or Sunflower/Safflower Oil), & butter. Sometimes I add almond milk, 1/2 & 1/2, or Heavy Whipping Cream. I then mix the ingredients together w/a spoon before I add the pasta. I didn't make my pizzelle & cookies at Vicinato's, (among my vegetarian homemade recipes), however, they were stolen as I stated above. I don't remain silent & I "drill baby drill" the point into exhaustion. I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years. The recipes start w/a base blend of All Purpose Flour & White/Whole Wheat Flour. I then add a blend of Sunflower/Safflower Oil, sugar, butter, vanilla, & homemade baking powder. From that, I + additional ingredients depending on what I'm in the mood for such as organic bananas, organic cocoa powder, vegetables, etc.One member of Club Molisani is a duplicate of another member.

This is a monthly visit for us. Good food, good service. And good people. Pizzas are always fresh and full of toppings with excellent crust. Salads are nice portion with delicious dressing. We had the calamari for an appetizer. Overall good flavor and cooked well. I decided to have the chicken cutlet sandwich for dinner. Large piece of cutlet, cooked well, and served on fresh Italian bread. Bring an appetite because this will fill you.

I decided to stop in here when Little Italy had hard to find parking. I am glad we decided to continue on. We started the meal with bread and butter The bread was delicious The hubby decided on the Cavatelli Parm with their homemade meatballs. The meatballs are made in house and had a great flavor. Definitely worth the try. The Eggplant Parmigiana was recommended to me. It was a great choice. It is done in house and tasted fantastic. I opted for a ride of gnocchi. Another winner! I would definitely recommend this Italian Restaurant. It did not disappoint.

I grew up in an Italian house. I know what pizza, pasta sauce, and chicken parmesan should taste like. This place, however, doesn't seem to understand. Their pizza sauce is devoid of any flavor. The crust is hard and bland. And their chicken parmesan was hard and dry like the desert. We ended up having to use a jar of pasta sauce from our cupboard to make their chicken parmesan and pasta edible. Biggest waste of money in a long, LONG time for me. Never again.

I have ordered from this place three times and the food has always been good, hot, freah. The Calzone was flavorful despite me getting it plain. The crust was prefect. I ordered the wedding soup and it was wonderful. I get the loaves of bread and they are fresh, fluffy and great. I don't know what other people order but what I have gotten has been a great meal. This in only a handful of places that serves the Sicilian white pizza they way relatives made it or the Sicilian with the red sauce. Usually places top it with Mozarella and Provolone and it is not the way it was made old school.
