This is a great local business that sells a little bit of everything from fresh meats to bakery items and everything in between. A bit more costly than a grocery store chain but convenient and the food is always fresh. The only thing we haven't liked was their take out pizza.

I quite like the Vermilion Farm Market! This place is surely a gem located on Liberty on the main drag of Vermilion. The place doesn't immediately look like much but its packed with anything you could need. The people working are also very nice.I was very pleasantly surprised to see them carrying so many local Cleveland brands I love. And I don't just mean the obvious ones like Bertman's or Great Lake Brewing Company, but smaller places like Erie Island Coffee, Old Brooklyn Cheese Company and small local honeys and jams from Amish Country. There's a full grocery, beer and wine, bakery, very nice deli and a small prepared foods bar. When I was there, the deli was completely poppin' with activity. When you're in a small town, you sometimes wonder if you'll be able to find everything you need in the local grocer (keep in mind, there's also a Giant Eagle up the street). But this smaller market carried all the "brand" names you might be looking for in a chain grocery. I also loved the cute autumnal touches like their little pumpkin patch inside. You can feel good about taking your business here!

As soon as you walk in the door the smell of baked goods hits you and your senses go into a tail spin. It is such a sweet wonderful smell. Almost as if you were walking into grandma's house and not a farm market. The rows in between are full of different pastas, pasta sauces of all kinds. They have a huge selection of wine, I didn't look carefully but I am sure that they have to have local wines available. Keep walking and you meet up with the low carb wraps in a multitude of flavors, the dairy section as well as the freezer section. In that area you get with the great wall of "WINE"! The meat counter is full of different types of fresh meat. This market place is so big and filled with so many different types of food, vegetables (regular and organic). It's a chefs or cooks play land, I just know if I have any recipe with unique ingredients you will most likely find it here. The variety of foods is insurmountable. There are also sections of assorted chocolates that are sold by the pound. We noticed they have many local foods as well which is very nice. Before we checked out the cashier showed us a great deal they had on containers to preserve vegetables and fruit. We bought two sets!!! You will not go wrong shopping at the Vermillion Farm Market!!

Gosh do I love this place! If you are looking for some awesome fresh produce or some pretty tasty deli-style meat and cheese the Vermilion Farm Market is the place to go!I'll admit, from the outside the Vermilion Farm Market doesn't look all that exciting. It doesn't even look all that great when you open the doors and walk inside. That being said, the Farm Market is always my #1 choice when I need some lunch meat, affordable fresh fruits and vegetables or some chicken or steak for the grill. In addition to all of that, they also have a nice selection of bulk candy, Amish chocolates, dried fruits and veggies and a decent sized wine collection. As a gluten-free shopper I find their selection to be well-suited for those on Gluten-Free Diets as well. While they may not have an enormous selection of GF goods, for the size of the store they are well stocked. They have a nice selection of marinades, Bob's Red Mill Baking mixes, a few frozen meals, lunchmeat and rice crackers. All of their GF products are well marked and easy to spot. If you are looking for a new place to shop because you are tired of the chain stores then I highly suggest you take a drive out to the far west side and give the Vermilion Farm Market a try! The market is located about 45 minutes west of Cleveland, Ohio and on the way to Cedar Point in Sandusky. If you want to pack a picnic for your family to eat while at the amusement park than why not stop by to purchase your food on the way? They have small coolers available for purchase and bags of ice as well. What are you waiting for? Take a drive out to the Vermilion Farm Market and you will be in love!!!

This store has the worst customer service. Their employees are mostly rude except meat dept. The owner Mary Beth Hicks has no control over her staff including sister in law Tammy Hicks and hires people that stand around and ignore the customers. The shelves are always in disarray and a lot of their packaged foods are outdated. If the employees did what they are paid for instead of gossiping and harassing customers the store would be busier. I won't go back and they're losing good customers every day!

Everything is great here and we are so fortunate to have a market like this in our town. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, great and unique selection, delicious prepped food, overall they go above and beyond.

So disappointed in the changes made at Vermilion Market. It was our favorite place to go for our meat and deli products and produce. Now they carry mostly Boar's Head deli meets and cheeses which are not priced for the average person. They have raised all their prices (like most every place has) but more so. Just so sad that they have gone yuppie instead of catering to everyone.

I'll make this short. I go there b/c sometimes they are the only shop nearby that has what I need. However...Their meat counter is pretty sad. It is very long and winding and you can access the meat counters from four different aisles. THEY WILL NOT PUT UP NUMBERS at the meat counter. They're rather watch their customers bicker b/c someone has jumped the line. It's been that way for years and each time I ask them to put up numbers, they say the customers don't want it. BS. They (many) of them are just plain unfriendly. I don't think they like their job as they act like they're doing you a favor just by looking at you. As with anything, there are exceptions.-So much for short...-Peace
