From out of town car had flat and went right next door w/my service dog and sat on patio and service was EXCELLENT!Vehicle is back in the shop not even a week later, went back to same place w/same pets and watched waitress walk in & out several times w/out acknowledging I was there. Finally went to side window and asked for service and was told "We do not serve those w/animals & I am the manager" well Shame on You! With today's economy one would think you would want business. Perhaps this young lady needs to find another job or take lessons of kindness from 1st waitress. I bragged how wonderful my 1st experience was but will be sure to share today's experience w/ the same friends

I had the lobster and shrimp risotto. It was delicious. Loved that there were large chunks of lobster meat! I would also recommend the black cherry martini!

Had dinner at the Venue and overall it was just ok. The menu had some great choices and the food was good. The grouper is fresh and flown in daily from Florida.However, the service left a lot to be desired. If the Venue wants to be considered an upscale restaurant, they need to invest in some training for their staff. The staff needs to know the menu inside and out, they need to be attentive to refilling drinks without guests having to ask, and they need to learn to bring all meals and desserts out at the same time. There is definitely potential here. However, my first experience left me a bit disappointed.

My family cannot stop raving about the amazing dinner they had here last night. It was their first time. Chrissy was so fun and welcoming from the moment they arrived. She made sure that my Mom felt special for her bday. The whole family said everything was so delicious, the service was excellent, and they will definitely be back to support a wonderful local gem.

Brand new restaurant/bar to the New Philadelphia region. I heard that the owner has many successful eateries in the area. I was really excited to check this out. Walking up to The Venue, I noticed it doesn't have great curb appeal. It only has the one sign. If I was just passing by I wouldn't know what it was. When you walk in is the hostess area and it's very beautiful inside, to the left is the dining room, to the right is more seating and a beautiful bar. Which has high end Bourbons, liquors, and wine. This isn't the place to go if you are wanting just beer, limited selection. We were able to take a tour, upstairs is a banquet room and downstairs had tables with its own bar. Both areas would be perfect to have a party. They aren't all set up for it yet, but I can tell it's going to be amazing and successful as his other places. Right now they have limited food, starting November 1st they will have a full menu. Steak, Seafood and Pasta. I look forward to coming back when they are up and running.

I had high hopes for this place, as we have been for cocktails, but not for dinner. We wanted to celebrate my mom's birthday somewhere nice and decided to give Venue a try. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and had a drink at the bar before sitting down. Everything was great until the meal. Out waitress was not very friendly and seemed to be annoyed with us from the start. We ordered some appetizers, drinks, and wine and then our meals. Crab Cakes- Meh. Too much filler, not enough crab.Mussels-No flavor. My brother ordered a Ribeye rare. It doesn't seem to matter where we go, but his food is NEVER correct. He doesn't have a desire to go out to eat often, he'd rather cook at him, but he gave it a try. His ribeye showed up to the table butterflied to about 14" thick and was well done. And I mean well done. Not even any pink. He immediately sent it back and did not want a replacement. The waitress didn't seem to be too concerned with it. I'm not sure if she entered the order wrong as "well" instead of rare, but it's hard to make a ribeye rare when it's butterflied to a thin pulp.The fettucini was also lacking flavor. I had the strip steak which was okay. Nothing more than you can get at the Texas Roadhouse. The only item that seemed to be pretty good was the pork chop. Chicken marsala-meh, Boubon Chicken- meh.Basically, for that price point, I expected a TON more with the service but mostly the food. The entrees should not be priced where they are. The quality of food is not there. A manager never stopped at our table to discuss the Ribeye fiasco. It was removed from the bill, but they should have tried a little harder to make it right. My brother should have also given them the chance, but he didn't. I hope it gets better. It's a great place to have a cocktail, but we will not return for dinner. There are much better options for a much better price. No one was raving about their meal, it was all just very "meh".

When callling to make a reservation for 4 people was asked "how long are you going to need the table?" I find that rude and more about turning over customers for sales. The first impression so far not good based on initial customer service, which appears to be lacking after reading other posts. If my father in law didn't want to go here for his birthday we would have said never mind we'll go elsewhere after that comment! Will update review after our meal later.

Five stars is not enough!!! This place is amazing. The crab cake app was great! My husband got the ribeye and it was one of the best steaks he ever had! I had the lobster risotto and scallops. Omg so good. This place will not let you down! The strawberry mojito is nice and light and refreshing. Worth every penny! The staff is really friendly. Can't rave enough about this place!!
