Unfussy + AWESOME. Great service + terrific food. Try the Greek fries, or anything really. So glad this is close to home.

This casual, laid back Greek restaurant is an Akron area gem! Authentic, flavorful Greek cuisine, with Greek music playing low in the backround, and very kind, attentive employees. Every metro area should have a place like this! The highlight of our visit was the delectable 'Saganaki' appetizer, which is as much an experience, as it is an epic Greek delicacy! Imagine a Greek cheese, brought to you flambeed (flames leaping up high - they sprinkle Sherry on it and light it) in a skillet next to your table, and quickly extinguished with squeezes of fresh lemon! It's crispy on the outside, and soft and melty on the inside, and served with pita bread wedges. My taste buds were dancing the 'Syrtaki'!

This place is a hidden gem. I wish people would know that they offer an amazing authentic greek food. The salad is the best salad I had here in Ohio. The dressing is the best. I love that they offer a variety of food in one plate too so you can try the best of greek food. I just love this place so much. The service is so good. The waitress i forgot her name but she is very nice and welcoming. She explained all the food to since we don't know what to order. And please don't forget to order baklava!!! Its the best I ever tasted in the entire USA. As I always crave for Mediterranean food. Overall, you feel that the place is warm and food is made with love. Bathroom is decent too.

Some surprises here:1. Way bigger than you imagine from the outside.2. Really cool decorated on the inside. 3. Huge menu.We stopped in for a lunch and decided each to have a salad, they were magnificent. Delicious fresh salad, tomatoes olives feta and covered with GYRO and chicken meat, abundant and delicious. Prices seem very fair and the place is clean with good service. This is a good place and you owe it to yourself to step out for something new and different.

The service was nice. I'm Greek. I grew up eating Greek food from first generation immigrants. The food here,sadly, was very disappointing. The food was really bland, and obviously microwaved warm...broiling the filo dough post microwaving could have gone a long way.We tried 3 dishes that were classic Greek cuisine (spanakopita, lentil soup, and pastitsio). They missed the mark by a long shot on all 3. Key spices were missing, texture was off, and most of it was pretty bland.

Nice atmosphere. Comfort food, eh! Excellent service! . Look forward to dining at this restaurant next time I'm in Akron.

We ordered food through DoorDash on Friday .. and we loved so much that we went back on Sunday for lunch! I have ordered the stuffed grape leaves and they were AWESOME!! The lentil soup is so flavorful ! My husband ordered a plate called Olympian ! The lady that help us was so nice and kind ! We will return soon! It's delicious

Amazing food and service. The prices were great. We enjoyed the falafel and gyro. It's worth a try.

Friendly staff, Great food, good quality and prices. I had heard of Vasilis periodically over my years in the area but never had the opportunity or remembered to try them. Then a picture of their fish fry posted on insta on a Friday during lent so I had to try. Been back several times since and all I can say is Gyros are awesome. Fish fry and shrimp scampi were great. They are now on a regular rotation.
