A great place to come for an amazing burger! The atmosphere is hometown sports with Buckeye flair. The servers and bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Shannon was a great waitress.

A hidden gem.... this bar far exceeded my expectations... Bartender Kaisey was very attentive and super friendly.... Enjoyed the sauerkraut balls and a western burger... very reasonable prices .... Will definitely come back next time we are in town

If you are a local and haven't been in a while and/or, if you are just in the area and are looking for something other the Crapplebees, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!I have lived in larger cities and Fremont, Ohio does not know what a gem they have in The VTO!First of all, I must admit to being a total beer snob. This place delivers with 5 rotating taps and multiple 12 oz. bottle and 22 oz. bomber selections.Craft Root Beer too!Now, on to the food. Tuesday night is the night to go for unique specials. I was at an event where they provided smoked pork and Salmon. He's a bigger beer/food geek than me and is always willing to talk about the place.

Love time out. I am a local, and visit at least once a week. It nice living in a small town and going to catch up with all of your friends. If you happen to be in town on a Tuesday ask about the burger special. Dean generally focuses on local ingredients. In addition he works really hard to have an excellent selection of rotating beer offerings. He even gets stuff nobody else (or I should say very few people) can get there hands on. And don't be afraid to start a conversation about it, lots of great people come from far and wide to talk beer!The best thing about the place is that is is completely unpretentious, small laid back place doing two very important things well... Food and beer! Cheers!

They have a wonderful drink selection and a good variety on the food menu as well. There is even a kids menu! The owner/Chef is extremely friendly and a really nice guy. I saw him talking to just about everybody there.

Not seeing or feeling these high ratings in ANY way.My bartender/server could not be more cold. I feel like I look like her ex husband or something. I don't get it. I'm not local or a regular but this obvious callous behavior is ridiculous.No extra words, no interest in me being here. Not a busy or bustling scene either. Took forever to even be served. (3 of us at the bar )Did I mention it was at least 85 in that house, yes it's a house not a real bar, with zero A/C . Not a fan in sight. When I asked the mildly less salty, server she said she "...doesn't want to talk about it, and if we ignore it, maybe it'll go away." Seems like that's their customer motto as well. I'd never return with this service. Reuben and fries were mehh, not stuffed with corned beef that's for sure. They promote that they're a "sports bar" so I drove the 14 miles to get here to watch CLE Indians game ( I'll never say their pandered name) but what do I walk in to? Little league baseball on their 2 TVs .Way to not give a shit!Add up the completely false sports bar atmosphere, the whollopping 2 whole TV's , the fair food and general disinterest and I'm done here.I'm literally going to leave and go look for a nicer place to hang out .I guess unless you're related to this crew you're garbage.

Wasn't very busy at 2pm. Food was good and service was great. Would recommend it to anyone. Looking forward to trying their perch.

Always great food and service is awesome I love their Dry Rub Chicken. With a shaken kalua and cream.
