Their breakfast options are not only delicious, but also incredibly fresh and healthy. But the real star of the show was the hash browns - crunchy, golden perfection! And yes the pancakes are plate size! The service was also top-notch. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.Whether you're in the mood for something classic and comforting or something lighter and healthier, Urban Kitchen has something for everyone. It's the second time I've eaten here. First time was a cheeseburger and fries at lunch. It was quick and tasty. The bacon was a nice addition and complemented the cheese and meat. Went for dinner with my wife. We tried the Egyptian menu and it was delicious. The hummus was damn tasty and plentiful. Stuffed peppers were red and green and had a nice rice mix. The fish was served whole and was fresh and done perfectly. The staff was friendly both times. It's a gem near the Clinic.

In short, unfortunately it took us almost two hours to get our food, and when it did come out it was not great. Good things about this place: ambiance is great, music is nice, Turkish coffee is very nice with the addition of cloves, and the fries are quite good (but not to the point of seeking out). Now for the bad. We did have a larger table, with about 12 people, but we noticed that that after we realized how long we had been waiting this was affecting everyone in the restaurant. Some other tables just got up and left after ordering because of the wait time. During our 2 hour wait time, there was little attention paid to us--no updates on why we were waiting, no asks for refill, nothing by the wait staff. We had hands raised a number of times that seemed summarily ignored.Once the food did come, one of our party's omelette was almost fridge cold (the cheese had rehardened). Someone else asked for butter, which came 15min later and was Greek yoghurt instead. My corned beef hash was extremely grisly and the whites of my overeasy eggs were still very liquid. Considering other reviews, I hope this is just a strange one-off--perhaps new staff, equipment issues, or something else. Given our experience, this establishment is not ready for a Sunday brunch level of patrons.

Life is short. F.....it up! Family, Flavor, FriendsWhile in town food the weekend was looking for a good spot for brunch. This place didn't not disappoint. Got the cornbeef hash 2 eggs hash brown potatoes and rye toast. This was homemade cornbeef seasoned and cured well got it crispy and it was savory especially mixed w the yolk of the over easy eggs - the toast was from a rye baguette thick small but perfect. The waffle was crispy fluffy in the middle topped with whipped cream. They have middle eastern and Egyptian cuisine which imagine would be good. Cool painting on the walls. Def with visit.

Let me preface this by saying I'm an out of towner and my food options are usually limited due to delivery cost and distance. I discovered urban deli and kitchen on my most recent trip to Cleveland and OH MY GOSH I'm so sad I never checked it out sooner. I usually am in town for 2-3 days at a time and this time I had EVERY meal from urban. There was so much in quantity that I was able to save for my lunches the next day. The first time I dined in and had the roasted chicken with potatoes and veggies. The chicken was quarter leg size, crispy, and so tender on the inside. The mashed potatoes and gravy was sooooooo good! Even the veggies had a garlic kick but they were just regular steamed veggies. I will say service was a bit slow for dine in and especially pick up the first day, but they were busy too. The ambience is cute, nothing too extravagant. Very much a mom and pop sort of vibe.Later for dinner I went back and ordered a Cajun chicken salad to go. It was refreshing and the chicken had a spicy kick to it. The next day I ordered the bamia & the health platter. I LOVEDDDD the bamia! It was so flavorful and the lamb shank was cooked to perfection. The meat practically fell off the bone! I substituted the vermicelli rice for the Persian fava & dill rice which I absolutely loved. The okra stew was amazing as well. I highly recommend this dish! The health platter came with three different dips, grape leaves, and pita. It was so light and refreshing and honestly could be a meal in itself for me. The hummus, baba ganoush and feisty feta cheese were packed with flavor! The grape leaves added a bit of texture. Overall I am VERY happy with this place! I'll definitely be back to try more things next time I'm in town!

Lazy Saturday mid-afternoon before a Guardians game. Yelpers brought us here and it was near our Hotel in the Cleveland Clinic area. Probably disappointed based on the reviews. House salad is big and well worth the $6. Chicken soup seemed homemade and was very tasty. I had to send it back since nice it was room temp. That took some time. Hamburger was underdone and had to be recooked. That took some time. Coffee refill never arrived. Mixed day on performance. Based on their location the restaurant must be packed weekdays. I noticed Egyptian dishes on menu. That's interesting.

Very expensive but delicious $17 blackened chicken salad. They said regular ranch over the phone but the ranch is definitely some sort of salsa type ranch which is also delicious.

I was having a business meeting today and needed lunch to be delivered. For the first time we ordered from Urban Kitchen and the meal was EXTRAORDINARY!My guests had a hamburger and a lamb burger and both found them to be well prepared, very tasty, and generous. I had a reuben and it was out of this world. Generous meat, perfectly toasted, and terrifically well dressed. We each had French fries and, while they didn't do as well in terms of delivery, we each ate them all!!For dessert, we had different chocolate cheesecake slices and they were so delicious. Worth the entire order!!While this was a delivered meal, we appreciated how terrific the entire meal was and would eagerly look forward to an in-person
