Upper Crust Pizza & Chicken

Holy 5****. Yeah it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. For $25 you easily get enough food for 2 people. Absolutely massive tenders. Best purchase I have made at a restaurant for Only negative is the place is so small that they don't have indoor bathroom

Every thing is getting so much smaller. This was supposed to be an 8-10 Detroit style pizza. This thing is 7-9 bit still cost 30.00

This is a review of two tastings of the American Pan Crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and sausage. I first tried and fell in love with the American Pan Crust pizza when I tried a slice at Akron Pizza Fest. The second time I tried the American Pan Crust pizza was tonight when I ordered takeout and ate it at home. I kept the pizza warm in the oven. The slice at the pizza fest was much better probably because it was right out of the oven and I didn't have to take a 20 minute drive home and then place it in another oven to warm up. Both pizzas had the same characteristics that I'll describe shortly, but the pizza fest slice was much better.The sauce is very sweet and tangy.The cheese was stretchy/stringy, slightly sour, with a creamy, milky flavor. The crust was greasy on the bottom and edge. The inside was chewy and very fluffy. The takeout pizza was more chewy than fluffy. The pizza fest slice was much more airy and delicate than chewy. The bottom of the crust was delicate and slightly crunchy. The takeout pizza was less delicate, harder and crunchier. I ate slices from three places at pizza fest and hands down Upper Crust was better. Tonight's takeout pizza reminded me of my moment of bliss at Akron pizza fest but fell short. I'd still buy it though.

One of the best pizza places! We all went to the Pizza Fest and tried every single slice we could eat ! I loved the Vegas Champ! I have now eaten it 3 other times but on Gluten Free crust! Thanks so much Upper crust for making this amazing yummy pizza! I hope to continue eating this! And ordering it! One day I hope you can deliver far and wide haha ;)

Ok gays and gals, didn't expect much - coming from NY I like my pizza places to look like an old ass hole in the wall with a bunch of gorgeous Italian hunks In greasy tee's throwing their dough around. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. (About the food - there were no hot Italian boys - though there is a very cute tall, slender fellow with puppy dog eyes who is cute as a button and very friendly - lucky for you ladies - I get a straight vibe )I have had their pizza, and their chicken. Both are fabulous. Highly recommend for takeout, just wish there was outdoor seating to enjoy your meal in the Square. Not going to ding them for that though. Definitely stop in and try this when you have a craving for pizza or chicken.

The chicken tenders were so crispy on the outside, and so juicy on the inside. BombPizza was good too. Love the amount of pepperoni.

We have tried this place twice while visiting Akron. Each time the pizza has been phenomenal- hot, fresh and loads of flavor. It is one of the best meals each time we come to visit. If you love pizza, wings, jojos then this place is top notch!

We follow them on our Buckeye State Foodies Instagram account and all their pictures would make our mouth water. Finally we decided to take the 1/2 drive and give them a try and wanted to also support local businesses during covid 19 pandemic. We pulled up and knew it was probably good because their were people coming in and out of the business picking up their food. We love trying new pizza and couldn't wait to try their pizza and jumbo chicken tenders!! We ordered the Detroit crunch crust pizza, chicken, tater tots and the fries!! It was just for take out so we went to a nearby park to eat it. We enjoyed our meal! They did a really good job with the crispy crust of the pizza and the chicken was nice and hot (not spicy hot but temp hot) and tasty!! I would have preferred my tater tots and fries extra crispy. I'm sure we could have prob requested them that way so next time we will. Yep there will be a next time!!!

I've ordered here repeatedly and it's always excellent. My favorite is the broasted chicken but was hugely surprised by the garlic sauce pizza the other night! So good!

Our driver is always awesome, we order upper crust on a pretty regular basis, was very disappointed on how soggy the pizza dough was, could not pick it up to eat it. Makes me sad because I love their pizza but hate soggy pizza, so maybe awhile before we order again. I show a picture but doesn't look like this site has a spot.
