Triple D’s Tastey Grill

The philly steak sub and fries were fire! Nice guy that grilled up some tasty food for two pretty fast, fries are different but good. We sat in the open table areas available throughout the building downtown, definitely recommend it.

I visited Triple D's in the Erie Flagship Food Hall on a Monday evening. There were a few patrons eating and waiting right in front of the stand and I could see and smell the food being prepared. I was drawn to the menu because of the variety. I recorded to try a burger since I don't each them often. I got the RKA Rodeo Burger with French fries. The burger is topped with pepper jack cheese, onion rings, bacon and bbq sauce .... WOWZA!!!! The brother came out hot, Fresh and very tasty I loved the cheese combo and onion rings topping. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy. The serving was quite generous as well. The owner was friendly and fast with his service. I highly recommend you check out Flagship and Triple D's, they won't disappoint!

Well something is not right. Went to there new place in the food court. Things not the same. There hamburger dry not juicy. Skimpy on the fries. Philly. Tasted off like they used rancid oil on the flat top that gave it a weird taste. This is what threw me for a loop. Mayo on a gyro. More toppings than meat. mayo. Lmao. On a gyro. Food was much better at the liberty location. Kitchen floor was dirty. And this was when they first opened for service I was not impressed at all. With what they were offering. Maybe a new cook. lol. Wings (10pc) Memphis sweet, cooked perfectly, crispy and hot. Walk in order wait 20 minutes, go to pick up has to wait additional 15 minutes, first time ordering for walk in, I'm ok with it hopefully just one time thing, no dine in at this time, just old diner cafe style I remember from a previous restaurant,

Great great lunch joint. Fantastic food, clean place, & a fun server! What more can you ask for.Menu is limited, which i like to see.... tells me they hand pick the items they do best rather than offering everything and mastering none. I got the philly chicken sub and my biz partner got the philly cheesesteak sub, we shared a side of fries- I ordered mine the way they make it and added American chz. First off, it's big, I didn't finish it. Neither did my partner. Second, it's probably the best chicken philly I've ever eaten. Period. (My partner said the same for the steak). We travel 5 states for work & eat lunch out every day. After 14 years, that's alot of restaraunt comparisons.The guys working were fun, personable, answered all our questions and gave great recommendations. The "Sauce Boss" let us taste their #1 wing sauce and their Greek sauce (Greek sauce in Erie is a meat sauce for hot dogs, burgers, fries...). The wing sauce makes me want to go back for dinner! Today!The ONLY thing I could recommend to upgrade this place in my opinion is if they offered fresh cut fries instead of only frozen. They started off as a hot dog/sub cart, just opened this restaraunt Feb 2021. My hats off to the owners- rough time to start a new restaraunt during this pandemic. Local business with good food. Greek fries are some of the best in the city (even before adding hot sauce and ketchup) and the chicken philly was good good... I'd definitely go back again to try other things. The restaurant was clean and the service was good.

Wings were great, perfectly cooked and sauce was made in kitchen and tasted great. Chicken and waffles were awesome as well.

I never write reviews but this place is the best!! Get it every couple days at the food hall.. solid wings fresh fries and homemade sauces.. good prices as well highly recommend!

Old time diner feel with counter seating and booths. Had the steak salad. Loaded with delicious steak and fresh mixed greens. Fries were super crispy. Didn't want the ranch dressing and asked for oil and vinegar and they mixed it for me!! Friend had chicken and waffles and said they were wonderful. Super friendly staff. Definitely will return.

The food was amazing. The Soul Rolls are a must. Mac and cheese..greens and chicken rolled up in and eggroll... OMG!! The staff was very pleasant. Will definitely go back.
