Nice restaurant with some really great decor and ambiance. I loved the unique lighting with lanterns and the restaurant was quite pretty inside. Service was great! We had a friendly waitress and food and drinks arrived quickly. I enjoyed my margarita as well as al pastor tacos. My family said their nachos and bowls were delicious as well. The bowls came with so much food! Overall very nice experience here!

The hours are generous - this is one of the few sit down restaurants in the area that remains open until 10p. The food is good but what I had wasn't great. It was a good meal and I'm grateful for it - but it isn't a place I would regularly dine at based on my experience tonight. The service was fine and the place is comfortable enough - it's just not "remarkable," food.

The atmosphere here is great. The menu has an enough to offer. Service was friendly. attentive and or orders came out in good time. That's is the good things. The rest of it was just ok. Or flight of. Margaritas had less than impressive flavor. I expected better and this style place. The chips that came with the salsa were huge and warm. The salsa that came had an average flavor. I ordered chicken soup has my meal. The flavor that was mild and disappointing. The ingredients were fresh. But it was definitely missing flavor. Overall. I can't say I recommend this place if you are looking for something to impress your tastes.

Went there on a Sunday. It sure wasn't crowded by any means. I use the car rule when picking a great place to eat. However I'd have missed out because the food was very good. I'd go back the next week. Stop in it's worth it.

Nice Mexican restaurant that we enjoy stopping at on our way back to Massillon when taking a day trip to Cleveland. Prices are very reasonable, and food is cooked to perfection. Quick tip on the salsa; they have a really tasty spicy salsa, but usually only bring it out when specifically requested..definitely recommend asking for it when enjoying your pre dinner chips.

First night in Akron meeting a number of friends from all over the country in town that weekend. Mexican seemed like a great idea and Tres Potrillos was only 2 miles from our hotel. Perfect.The 8 or so of us were seated at a large table with plenty of room, I started with a top shelf margarita which was good enough to have several more. There were chips and salsa for the table which was very nice. Everyone ordered their mains and it seemed like my partner's order and mine were forgotten in the shuffle. About 30 to 35 minutes after the rest of the table was served we got our meals. We were laughing and talking with everyone so it wasn't really a big deal.I ordered the lobster chimichanga and to be honest it was a lot better than I was expecting. The shell was full of lobster, onions, and tomatoes with a creamy sauce with lime rice with cilantro.Check this place out!!

This isn't the best Mexican restaurant, but it also isn't the worst. Cons- it's a bit overpriced as far as Mexican food goes. The staff are friendly, but it doesn't seem like they have an efficient system in place. Some of the food is good, but I've had quite a few mediocre (or less than mediocre) meals. The margaritas are straight up terrible. Terrible. I recently tried the Spicy Mango Margarita and it tasted neither spicy nor mango. Pros- it's a really pretty restaurant. They have a really fantastic patio. The staff works really hard. Again, it's not the worst so if you find something you like, it's definitely worth coming here on a beautiful night and sitting on the patio.

Wanted to order two or three carnitas street tacos and a beef enchilada, but they couldn't make it happen so I left. Very pricey too, $15 for two tacos. No a la carte menu. Service was not accommodating and they had a very limited menu. You're paying for the lease/mortgage not the food. The salsa wasn't very good either.They don't offer carnitas tacos either, but have carnitas.
