Good portion size for the prices. Got a lot of meat, toppings for what you pay for. Will go back again

I ordered a grilled chicken salad and I found a piece of undercooked chicken. I've called multiple times to let them know but they didn't answer any of my calls. I would've driven back there but I was unable to. It sucks cause I used to order from them all the time. Never again!!

So. Damn. Good.We're in town from Pgh for a hockey tournament and found this place on Yelp. We usually try to avoid chain-type places, and this place is why. It ain't fancy, but our subs were so good. The sign in the window says "best subs in town". It's not wrong.

Great tasting subs and great service! Definitely recommend this place! Restaurant is clean with tables to sit at if you wish to fine in.

Excellent every time. The hot italian and philly cheesesteak are the best. You will not be disappointed.

Wanted subs for a party. They come in 18" so I could cut six smaller but nice sized sandwiches from a sub. Because I wasn't serving them until later in the evening I had to do the cold subs but man, did those hot subs look delicious! I did the Italian and the turkey to please the crowd and they did just that. The meats were sliced fresh as the subs were made and all of the sides like, pickles banana peppers and sub sauce, were nicely packed up for me so as not to make my subs mushy by the time I served them. The people working there or so friendly and accommodating. One thing that I found disappointing was that they advertised whole wheat buns but when I got there they only had Italian white. They had mentioned that the baker they purchased from wasn't making the whole wheat anymore. If you like a good sub I would definitely try Tommy's!

I reall enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The guys at the counter were friendly and quick. Appreciate the old fashioned atmosphere as well.

Haven't been here for a couple years, heard there were new owner's and wasn't sure what to expect. Shouldn't have waited so long! Our subs were delicious! They also fresh slice the meat when you order. We got my favorite, the cold Italian, and the Romanburger. Enjoyed it very much and the guys running the place were very nice. VERY reasonable prices too. We'll be back!

The best Philly cheesesteak subs in Mentor. Everything I've gotten from here has been good. The staff are friendly and even when busy the wait is not long.
