TJs ToGo

TJs is take out only; don't expect it to have chairs and tables. I ordered the corned beef. It was chopped on the grill with cheese and grilled bread. I anticipated sliced meat not chopped. The person who took my order was pleasant and helpful, i didn't ask enough questions. If I'm in the area I might go back for a hot dog or soup.

My wife and I recently drove to this area from Seattle. We have no furniture and are utterly rootless in the area, but we drove past TJs to Go a few times, and decided to check it out.To keep it brief, the service was great, and the food was incredible. To call what I ate a "corned beef sandwich" is to do it a grave injustice - I think it might be the best corned beef I've ever eaten. My Irish ancestors came to me in a vision immediately afterward and told me to write this review, so here I am. My wife had the Carboholic, which is an absurd indulgence made of an eight inch hot dog, a three-cheese baked mac and cheese, fresh bacon, and smoked brisket. She gave me a bite and I was shocked by how well everything went together, but moreso that it managed to not be a totally greasy gut-buster, but an actual well-balanced plate.At one point during our meal, a person I assume to be the proprietor came out and asked how our food was. I learned then that the delicious corned beef I was eating was not boiled, but was slow-roasted for nine hours. Nine hours!They went so far above and beyond for us that when they overheard that we don't have any furniture yet, they handed us a nice chair that someone had left at the restaurant and wished us well. We will take turns sitting in our new chair while we eat our leftovers - don't be fooled by the prices; this is easily a two-stage meal.tl;dr: Great vibes, absurdly good food. Definitely my favorite meal I've had to date in Ohio. You owe it to yourself to try it at least once.

Yum, YumOrder the philly cheesteak. Hubby says it's the best cheesesteak he's had in ages!I ordered the rueben and that was yummy, too. Overfilled deliciousness.

I didn't think I liked a baked potato that much, but this place has done amazing things with a spud. Best baked potato I've ever had. Huge servings will surely satisfy any appetite too.There's a great selection of sandwiches, hot dogs and baked potatoes that are inspired.The staff is also incredibly nice and had me cracking up. Fast, friendly service.

Although I've been here several times, I always get the same simple thing- The Katie, which is a baked potato with butter, cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions. However, it's the best baked potato ever! And HUGE. Biggest baked potatoes anywhere. Very filling and relatively 'healthy' for 'fast food'. A small, locally owned business adds to the awesome experience. Go. You won't be disappointed!

great owner i came in for a chicago dog and he knocked it out the park portion size is amazing too! definitely recommend giving this place a shot

Bland bland bland. I tried the chicken Philly. It was mostly dark meat chicken which was super dry. Covered in tiny pieces of peppers and onions and a neon orange cheese sauce that had absolutely no taste. The whole thing was mushy and soggy and flavorless. For $12 a pickle or some chips on the side would've been nice so I wasn't still hungry after not being able to eat much of the sandwich.

My wife and I ordered from this restaurant to go. I ordered a custom baked potato with the brisket chili and cheese. And I loved it. As a big eater, this filled me up. The chili is really good. My wife ordered the cheese and tomato sandwich, and she did not enjoy that... and neither did I. But it isn't something I would normally get. Compared to the oversized baked potato, the sandwich looked small.

Got the Big Georgie sandwich at the suggestion of the chef given what I've already tried. I also got the Broccoli cheese soup.I definitely will be back.

First time there great sandwiches also great hotdogs. They have a great selection of both along with baked potatoes. Only draw back is there are only a couple of tables fir dine in. Will definitely go back and try more if their menu.
