I mean, it's mall food court sushi. That basically says it all. All the food is very bland. I could not taste the fish at all on both the cooked roll with shrimp and the Alaskan roll with salmon. Except the spicy sauce which they absolutely piled on the Alaskan king roll, making it too spicy for me to eat. The fish seemed oily.

Well this place is always a go to when my husband and I go to the North Olmsted mall. I grew up in Olmsted Falls and would ride my bike with my friends to the mall like every other day during summer vacation. If this place was around then - all of our allowance money / pet time job money would be going to TJs :)Seriously though - the hibachi combo with all the vegetables is seriously the best. Don't know how they make it so good but so happy they are there! Still try to make it over there when visiting my parents. Don't forget the yum yum sauce also - can easily split between 2 people.

TJ Hibachi, located in the food court of Great Northern Mall, is a consistent choice for myself and co-workers looking to grab a quick lunch. Reasonable pricing and quick service for made-to-order food - certainly better than "fast food" options. I typically get the Chicken Teriyaki and veggie stirfry over white rice, with a side of the orange yum-yum sauce (Sriracha with mayo, I believe) - freshly cooked and tasty. I've also gotten sushi rolls such as eel and avocado which is good. For big eaters, you can opt for a Teriyaki meat combo along with a sushi roll. I've done that a couple times and ate less of the white rice. Also, Great Northern Mall's food court is a pleasant happy well-lit environment so it is a good place to chill, eat, talk. Recommended.
