Tino's Italian Kitchen

I kept hearing rave reviews about the food here, so I made the trip from Boardman to give it a try and boy was I not disappointed! I ordered one of the Friday specials- the "Haddock Tino". It's an Italian breadcrumb seasoned piece of haddock topped with Italian fried greens and peppers and oil. It was great! The staff was friendly and the unsuspecting piece of white Italian bread was amazing. I will be back to try some pasta!

Was really wanting to like this place. Speaking as a 100% Italian, have never had lasagna that has no body. The meat sauce part of it was essentially meatball mix that was so ground up and mixed in with the cheeses that it had the texture of pate through each layer without any resemblance of meaty, cheesy goodness found in a traditional lasagna. Our fried mozzarella, which I assumed (my mistake) would have been a square or shape of mozzarella, like another local Italian restaurant does, but turns out they were just mozzarella sticks. Which by the way were so dark and overfried without much cheese unlike a "piece" of fried mozzarella per the menu, which leads you to believe that's what it would be. Also, we didn't receive the 2 orders of bread which was to come with the lasagna. Had the three meatballs which were ok, but didnt get the bread that should have come with those also. The greens were good

This is some of the best Italian food I have had. I wish I had known about this place when it opened. The Sunday sauce is the best around. Haven't had a bad thing yet. Love it!

Have not had a bad meal here! Tonites fare? Chicken parmigiana over cavatelli with Sunday sauce, wedding soup and fresh bread that's to die for!

My husband and I gave this a try and it was delicious! We both got a small bowl, penne, alfredo, Parmesan chicken. My husband got some broccoli in his. We also each got a slice of fresh out of the oven Italian bread! Generous portion and great flavor. I will say we added quite a bit of salt to our alfredo but that's just to our taste - I'd rather add salt than it be too salty! Definitely will be back!

This is a great order at the counter Italian eatery. Not many tables to eat inside but the food is delicious. Our first time here I ordered small bowl of eggplant parm, which is a good size portion, and my husband had the blackened haddock. We both really enjoyed our meals, the sauce is great and the fish was fantastic. The Italian bread is wonderful also. My only complaint is I wish they had angel hair as one of the pasta choices. Would highly recommend and We will definitely return.

Let me just say this, the greens and fresh bread. OMG, AMAZING!!! Everything is fresh and made to order - much better than local competitors and a nice alternative to the traditional sit down style Italian restaurant.

The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, nothing was frozen or pre-prepared. Portions are more than generous. Who could complain about the prices...no one. Hands down best quick bite in Youngstown!
