Don't judge a book by its cover. Parking here is a little wonky and the pathway to the entry is not well designed but there's a handicap entry that worked well for mom's rollinator. Once in the door, the interior delights. With two major dining areas, a bar and outdoor seating there's more space inside than the exterior reveals. Views are pretty spectacular as well. We were immediately seated and service appeared quickly. Having spied a smoker outside, I opted to have the pulled pork and Mom enjoyed a Reuben. The pork was tasty and plentiful. Onion rings were tasty and mom did damage to her Reuben. Enjoyed every minute and will add it to our Ohio rotation.

I met up with a close friend who had found this small quaint place from google. I was a little skeptical at first being that I had never heard of this restaurant. Upon our parking and heading towards the front door I still didn't really know what to expect. We came inside and the waitress asked if we wanted indoor seating or outdoor. I said indoor and the waitress apparently didn't hear me and proceeded to take us outdoors. Boy am I so glad that she didn't hear me because to my surprise the outside seating was phenomenal! We chose a table which was very close to the creek and it was such beautiful scenery.I ordered chicken tacos but can't wait to make my way back to try EVERYTHING that they have to offer. The food was fresh and amazing and so was the staff.

My friend and I were hiking in the metro parks nearby and found this off the beaten path. From the outside this is not what we were expecting. Outside looks like and old house - the inside is beautiful with hardwood floors, a nice looking bar, and a beautiful bay window the overlooks the patio and the creek. We sat at the bar. They had a few local draft beers to choose from - I had a local Christmas ale and my friend ordered and old fashioned. I'm unsure of the name of the bartender but the service was excellent- he went out of his way to help us and other dining. We started with the spinach dip and the homemade chips (he bartender gave us a dip to go with it that wasn't on the menu) both were great starters. It was a classic hot spinach dip - very delicious. And who doesn't love homemade chips? For entrees I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and my friend had the roasted beet salad with chicken. The portions were great and I thought the prices were fair too. I love the Mac and cheese - it had bacon and fresh tomatoes mixed in and then topped with pulled pork. My friend was very happy with her salad - we both had leftovers. We both agreed we'll be adding this to our regular rotation.

Chosen by a family member, this scenic restaurant is okay but not fantastic. Food/Drink: Giant Pretzel- Classic pretzel, the winning choice was the honey mustard sauce served alongside it. BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich- It was overly sauced and also gave me the impression that it had been sitting somewhere all day to keep warm. It was a little dry and didn't really carry any flavor other than the BBQ sauce, which was mediocre at best. Cheesy Grits: This was by far the best thing I ate-- it had great flavor, it was cooked well and was great as a side. Ambiance: The outdoor patio was shaded enough to keep us cool while we ate. Overall I think it's a fantastic location right on the creek that gives you a sense of zen while you enjoy your favorite bar classics. Service: Our waiter was kind, capable, and did a good job. It seemed like they didn't have very many people to take orders, so he did the best with the task he had been given. It seemed that they had more supplementary staff (bussers, hosts, etc.) than they had people taking orders.Accessibility: There is a ramp that leads to a door for people who use mobility aids or require no stairs. It was quite crowded inside the restaurant so I'm not sure how easy it would be to maneuver if you're using a wheelchair. TOTAL SCORES: Food/Drink: 5/10Ambiance: 9/10Service: 9/10Accessibility: 8/1031/40= 77%= C!

We come up to Tinker's Creek periodically, usually in nice weather so we can sit on the patio and have a nice, leisurely meal. This patio is one of the top ones in the area - our most recent visit was in early May (which in NE Ohio is our only real Spring season!) and the creek was had sufficient water so that there was a strong stream and current. The patio is right on the creek and it feels as though you're having dinner right on the bank vs. sitting on a restaurant patio. The interior also features a dining area with large windows, so even if you cannot get a spot on the patio you can still get a nice view. And I haven't been here in the winter, but people have told us the winter views from the dining room are probably the prettiest of the year. The food has always been consistently good, with a nice array of barbeque dishes which they're known for. Good selection of craft beer and wine, and the cocktails are well executed (and abundant!).Service has always been friendly and attentive. We look forward to our next visit!

In Valley View for business, chose Tinkers Creek because of the menu and was not at all disappointed. Nice, slightly out of the way scenic drive, which ends at this gem of a restaurant. The cheesy brisket fries were hard to find fault with, and the buffalo chicken salad was amazing! Huge portions, and all four of us agreed it will be a staple when we travel to the area. Great location, service, food and ambiance!

Cutest rustic spot I have visited only twice, but really ought to more. Ambiance is cozy and family-friendly with a cute outdoor patio right on the creek. They smoke their own meats on huge outdoor smokers you pass by to get to entrance. Their "nachos" are fantastic - home made thick and crispy potato chips piled high with delicious tender pulled pork, melted cheese and classic toppings. They easily overfeed two people. Pair the nachos with a couple of beers and you have a great and affordable meal out.
