Times Square Restaurant

If you love diners like my husband and I do then you have to stop! I've been coming here with my family forever. The club sandwiches are amazing, cream chicken over biscuits incredible, French toast and French fries...perfect. Oh an the pie...oh the pie is out of this world!The servers are so pleasant and remember you after just one visit. We love Times Square and we think you will to!

This is a nice little restaurant in a rural area where there aren't too many choices for eating out. We were strangers among the locals but our server was friendly and efficient. I ordered the meatloaf and it had a great flavor. Mom enjoyed her Swiss and mushroom burger, which wasn't on the menu but was served with no issues. Many slices of homemade pie were being served so I got a Reese's to go. It was smaller than expected but tasted yummy. One downside -- it's a "cash only" business but the sign on the door notes an ATM across the street.

Stopped in for the first time on a Friday evening around 6pm...not too busy. Seems like the usual crowd having their Friday night dinner. Very friendly waitress suggested the hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes so we went with that and also a side of coleslaw. Real roast turkey meat and real mashed potatoes. The coleslaw was pretty good too! We shared a slice of their home made banana cream pie which was delicious also. This is a cute little old time diner with decent home cooked food and nice people. Be aware--CASH ONLY!

Really great for what it is: a rural diner, far from the beaten path, with homemade everything.The outside reminds me of the Whistlestop Café from Fried Green Tomatoes. And it is also tiny. If you have a party of more that four, the only seating option is a long table in a cramped side room next to the bathrooms. Probably four booths and a few four-tops.The menu is pretty diverse, but standard diner fare. Breakfast is served all day, but once they run out of their locally sourced sausage gravy for the day, it's gone. That seems to be their most popular item.We went for dinner, and I had the chicken parm sandwich, which was perfectly crispy, and obviously hand breaded. My sister had the country fries steak (CFS!!!) and I had to try it. Again, definitely homemade as was the gravy.One nephew had fried shrimp, which was just ok, but the spicy horseradish was amazing. The other had pancakes- they were enormous, both wide and thick. I will be ordering them next time.Finally, the prices are amazing. You would be hard up to spend more than 10 bucks per person.Oh, and probably a dozen fresh pies available each day. Not my thing, but another thing they are known for.

Homecooking! Friendly staff! Great prices! Love Braised steak on Sunday and the hot sandwiches ( roastbeef turkey or meatloaf) they use real roast and Turkey for their sandwiches! Homemade brown gravy like grandma makes!! Great pies too!

Great food and friendly staff. Deserts are amazing as well.Definitely worth stopping if you're in the area.

Stopped in for breakfast. Best breakfast in the area. I had a blueberry pancake and my wife had a pancake, eggs, toast and bacon. Excellent food and friendly service. And very good coffee as well.
