Three Star Restaurant

It's 3 stars. Not much flavor - food needs lots of condiments to fill the void. Potatoes burned. It has a dirty kitchen, long meal waits with too much local intrigue. It takes away enjoyment of your stay.

Grading this place on a curve, definitely the best restaurant in a 4 mile radius and it was pretty solid. I did feel a bit like my grandpa, ate a BLT with a cup of coffee... but it was all fresh, coffee was good, bacon was just cooked and it was more than expected. The place is aged but not dirty and the staff was friendly and attentive. Low key expected my car to be on cinder blocks when I came back out though...

Three star is the first Diner I ever went to. My father used to work at the steel mill across the street from the diner. The diner is still has the same short order cooks and waitresses as were there when I was in high school. Its situated on the "south side " of the city. The diner has an open menu all day, which was great for me because I could never decide if I wanted to have a hungry man breakfast special which offered both locally made sausage and bacon or Greek Roasted Chicken. It never mattered because at the prices that were given at three star, you could eat til your heart's content. This place is old school, the waitress gives you your soda in a can with a glass of ice, breakfast is less than 5 bucks, and old men line the counter with walking canes, newspapers and cups of coffee.

Lorain Oh best Lil eatery in town ! Everything is cooked fresh and the daily specials are Amazing! They also serve Spanish food favorites tostadas,rice and beans,tacos etc. MY FAVORITE IS THERE HOMADE SOUPS I LOVE CHICKEN WITH RICE FABULOUS!

Fresh cooking, everything is local and authentic. I always enjoy eating at Three Star when I make it back to Lorain.

Can't rant and rave enough about how good the food is. I had sausage and gravy biscuits...yummy.

I have never eaten here, but I would think their food might be worth a shot since it seems very inexpensive. There is really a misspelling on their menu, which is already a turn-off...

Great food with large portions. Has the old school atmosphere with old school prices.

What more can I say, it's a certified community staple and going in is like a time machine going back to those diners you see in old movies, the food is pretty much how you'd imagine your mama or grandma would make when she was in a good mood. It may be called 3 star, but it's a 5 star Lorain classic
