A quick google search by a friend brought me here. I visited on Friday, 30 November 2023 when I was in Oberlin with my friend Naila and her friend to see a piano recital performance by Jeremy Denk at Oberlin College & Music Conservatory. We stopped by to have an early dinner before the music performance. BUSY ON FRIDAY NIGHTS -- I believe we arrived around 6:30pm and left around 7:15pm because the music concert started at 7:30pm. We got lucky to find 3 seats at the bar right as we entered because there were no tables left. We didn't mind rushing ourselves out because we still had lovely conversations and a hearty meal. FOOD -- Let's get right into it. You'll have plenty of dinner options to choose from their menu or lunch if you visit during lunch hours. I ordered the Phat Kaprow ($14) which is one of my staples at any Thai restaurant. It is also called Kra Praow at other establishments but here the menu has it listed as "Phat Kaprow". It tasted just as good as I expected especially with the basil in it. It came with side of white rice in a small bowl and a plate of ground chicken mixed in with green beans. The chicken and green beans mixture was so flavourful and juicy in the little teriyaki-like sauce. The sauce was really a chili and garlic mixture, I think. The dish also came with a very small side salad of arugula and cucumbers. I enjoyed getting some rice, placing it on my main plate with the chicken/green beans, and gobbling it all up - YUM!! Praise the Lord for food. DRINKS -- I was given a complimentary cup of Thai Iced tea which is made with condensed milk and it was one of the best drinks that I've ever had. It was so rich and sweet because of the condensed milk used to make it. I believe the regular price might be $5 but check their drinks menu. I want to drive all the way back here just to buy the Thai iced tea drink because I had previously never had a drink like that before. I don't drink alcohol but there are plenty of options for you to choose from so just ask.If you don't plan to travel to Thailand in Asia anytime soon then I suggest visiting Thai Ni Thi restaurant if you're in the downtown Oberlin area or if you're close to Oberlin College. ThaiNi Thi has plenty of inexpensive food options and warm customer service. BONUS -- There is a free parking lot in the back. It had been years since I first visited so we went out for a date night to see all the changes. They have have a great covered patio area. The restaurant is bright and fresh with all the lights. I loved the pictures in the bathroom. The food is always interesting to try. I wish they had a sampler platter so you could get a variety of instead we just ordered a couple dishes and shared. The spring rolls are delish. I tried the curry and a house special. I love the fresh vegetables and the unique flavors. They also have a great drink menu with mocktails!

It's truly unbelievable -- an authentic Thai restaurant with vegan options in the middle of nowhere? During my drive back to NYC from Cedar Park, I searched for vegan food options and discovered Thi Ni Thai. I had low expectations, as I typically don't find genuine ethnic cuisine outside of major cities like NYC. However, Thi Ni Thai exceeded all expectations! The drunken noodles with tofu were exceptional, and the spice level was perfect. I can't wait to return!

The food at this restaurant is consistently well-seasoned and fresh, offering wholesome meals that are a great alternative to fast food. The flavors are incredibly vibrant and authentic, and I appreciate the consistent quality in both service and taste. The decor is enjoyable, and I especially like sitting on the patio. Additionally, their cocktails are top-notch.

This place just does not miss. I hadn't been in a while, sad to say. Visited again recently and they have expanded the restaurant and the menu! We sat on the patio and our waitress was lovely. We had the green curry with chicken, phat kee mao (drunken noodles) with beef, grilled pork collar, and spring rolls. I tried a few of their mocktails. For dessert, we tried the new homemade coconut ice cream with sticky rice and mango. Everything, food/drinks/service/atmosphere, was FANTASTIC. So flavorful and perfectly executed. Chef Aon does an amazing job, and despite the restaurant being very busy, he stopped by to chat. I love love love this restaurant.

Bomb food? Check. Relaxing atmosphere? Check. Cool vibes? Check. From the time Izzy answered the phone to Victor's warm greeting as I perused the menu, this space checked all the boxes. You'll be treated like a person and be well attended to boot. Both recommended the house special: Khan Soi Curry, and they did not miss. As a fan of curry dishes, it wasn't too hot, but people who aren't used to that spice may feel differently. It was tasty either way. The first trip was a success.Kudos.

Absolutely delicious khao soi with the sticky ribs. A great spicy kick without being overwhelmingly hot. So much flavor.I ordered a black cherry which I believe they mixed themselves instead of out of a can. Worth it.Dog friendly outdoor patio.

Every so often you go to place and are wowed. And this is the "wow" place. The food is so good here I want to tell everyone. Be sure to make the drive and try everything in the menu. We had Khao Soi - with Ribs this coconut curry base comes in a large soup bowl with crunchy noodles and soft noodles. The owner came over and recommended that we squeeze fresh lime juice on it. The ribs we were so tender that the meat felloff the bone. Our favorite was Phat Karpov...chili paste, Thai basil, stir fry sauce and garlic. Just amazing. We had a chicken dish, Laap Chiang Mai, looked mild and turned out to be a fiery masterpiece. And then Aon , the owner, and chef came out a brought us a complimentary portion of Gangnam Style Lamb. We are still talking about how soon we can come back. Go here!!

Amazing!!!! My bf and I dined in for the first time last night and enjoyed our whole experience! The atmosphere is very relaxing and has a cute almost tiki bar feel to it by the colors and decor. Our server, I believe her name was Madeline or Madison, was very friendly and informative, making sure to ask us about our dietary needs and if we have allergies. She seemed very well trained and made sure we were getting what we wanted. Our drinks were delicious and I get so excited for unique cocktail menus, and theirs certainly didn't disappoint! I got the Thai Basil margarita, and my bf got their version of a whiskey sour.We shared the spring roll appetizer that was on special, it had pork belly. Omg!!! The flavors were so bomb, and the sauce it came with was perfectly paired!! My bf ordered the curry soup with ribs, and I got Shrimp and tofu phat Thai. Our dishes were so beautiful, and the flavors were so exotic, complex and balanced. The ingredients are fresh, their spices are authentic and we are so looking forward to coming back soon! My bf said that was the best meal he had all year, and we are serious foodies!!!
