Pretty
Bruschetta chicken. Absolutely delicious.
Eggplant Rollatini. So delicious with a filling of spinach and ricotta on a bed of pasta aioli.

The rolling hills were a new challenge. Definitely needed a car unless you needed an uphill workout. The fairways are long and wide, and the greens are large. Some ground holes and soft spots were noticed, tho overall fairways and greens were very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. The country club venue is newer, beautiful and a wonderful spot for a large or small event. Service was very good, and food was delicious.

Have played several times this year. Conditions seems to have deteriorated. Some of it could be the really wet spring, some just a lack of attention to detail. So many bunkers are declared 'ground under repair' and others are just in terrible condition. I really want to like this course, layout is best in Geauga County, but it is regressing. Played on a Sunday morning (Mother's Day) and had the place to ourselves. Can this course survive?Played on July 4th. Would say that conditions have improved significantly. Bunkers have all been cleaned and new sand. Fairways were in very good conditon and pace of play was good. Course was as crowded as I have seen it quite awhile. Much more upbeat about the course and it's future than I have been recently. Played again on July 4, 2018. Course conditions were, for the most part, very good. Virtually all bunkers have been re-done. As I have said before, the layout is as good as any course in Northeast Ohio. Pace of play was not good, but it was a holiday. They could use a starter and a ranger to keep things moving.

As a wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to work at The Tanglewood Club! Everything was very well organized, Stacey was great to work with there, and the grounds and golf course provided us with so many gorgeous options for portraits. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.

I'm a very amateur golfer. Get out maybe a few times per year if I'm lucky. In this case was 18 with a group of old friends. The gents at the clubhouse were very nice and got us on the course quickly. It offered a good amount of challenge and fun. However maybe they were mid-maintenance but there were a lot of piles of mulch and messed up areas from cutting down trees? A lot of the fairways were in poor shape as well. Point is the price seemed a good bit high for what we were playing on. All a little past it's prime.

I have played Tanglewood 4 or 5 times in the past two years. The course is in good not great condition but has some great holes that will challenge players of every level. Watch out for the speed of the greens has summer heats up because they can be a lot faster then expected.

Tanglewood is a beautiful place to get married. My 3 star review does not reflect the venue itself. It's clean, the food was actually delicious, the servers at my wedding were extremely kind and polite, and riding around in a golf cart in my wedding dress to take pictures on the grounds was both fun and tremendously scenic. However, I was appalled by Stacey Hill, the "event coordinator/on site event manager". Her lack of professionalism was shocking and her lack of presence at the wedding was counterproductive and upsetting. She was meeting with another couple at one of my tables as I was about to walk down the aisle!!!!! Also, on the day of my rehearsal, which she had days before assured me was "in her calendar", she didn't come and said that she is the "reception coordinator" and not involved in the wedding portion. WHAT?!? Well that was news considering she had actually been helpful up until then with getting the wedding in order, including organizing the bouquets and decorative flowers. So I conducted the rehearsal myself based on what I vaguely remembered from the last wedding I attended. I think it is realistic to expect your event planner to be physically present and helpful for the main event. I shouldn't have had to run it on my own. Thank goodness I had such a lovely photographer who took charge!

This is a very challenging golf course and it is easy to imagine professional events being held here when it was in its prime. It is no longer in its prime but if you want to test your skills this is a good place to do it.The course is full of uneven lies and canted fairways. There are almost no easy holes and challenges abound especially if you were a fader or slicer. The greens are not small which helps but there are many undulations in them. The course is in mediocre condition and I was surprised to see that the regulars apparently do not fix their ball marks on the greens. The fairways are full of divots and gaps in the grass and you basically have to roll the ball over. The cart path is a mess so go slow. The starter suggested the blue since I am a seven handicap, and it was a challenge for sure. Primarily because I am a fader of the ball and the course is designed for those who draw the ball into the hills otherwise everything kicks down the mountain to the right in unpredictable ways and more than you would think.I'm sure if I played here regularly, like once a week, I would learn where to put the ball. For example I was pin high on a par five with my second shot but I was down a hill with a really steep pitch and would have been better off laying up had I known the area around the green. Coming from Texas I haven't played on a lot of bentgrass greens in many years. They rolled pretty good if the line was clear of pitch marks and other imperfections. All and all this is a shot maker's course and worth a try if you haven't ever played it even if only for historical purposes.

played today and the course looked great! Starter and the ranger were working hard to keep the flow and pace and it was a smooth 18. Will definitely be back

Played this course today. Fairways are a complete mess. Big ruts in many of the centers of the fairways. The greens fees were way to high for the terrible shape of the course. Would not play here again.

Terrible course will never play here again. Slow play and the ranger just sits there. Aren't they supposed to speed up the play? We tee'd off at 10:51am it's now 3:43pm and we still have 2 holes to go.
