The Runway Ristorante & Lounge

First time back under new ownership and happy to report it's amazing as ever! Vince the owner, is beyond wonderful! Actually was helping his team, checking on guests, and made you feel like family. Staff is also very polite and kind! Where to start about the food, incredible! Portions are massive! Highly recommend the fish sandwich! French fries are freshly made and the vegetable blend is delicious! Plus they support their local Polk Meat Market as their supplier! Excellent! Inside the restaurant is beautiful as well, can never go wrong with looking out onto a runway. Plenty of seating space too!

Sunday evening was our first time back since the change in ownership, and I'm happy to report the food is still some of the best Italian that can be found locally! Many of the dishes are carryovers from Primo Barone's which made our group of six very happy since we were all fans of the former establishment. The service was solid in spite of the fact that our waitress had several larger tables. What sealed the deal? The new owner/chef stopped by our table after the meal to introduce himself and ask about our meal. We're foodies and have traveled countrywide looking for great eats, so I'm no stranger to this approach, but it's not one often found in Venango County. A+

Wow! We've been to this place before, but since the new owners have taken over, the service and food are outstanding! It's not a stuffy itailian restaurant anymore, it's more lively and fun. Our food was top notch! We used to travel to Erie to get good italian food, now we only have to go to Franklin!
