The Rambler

My son goes to Edinboro and when we either drop him off or pick him up it is dinner time. Edinboro is not a foodie town at all so when we came across The Rambler not too far from his school, it was a breath of fresh air. I was just starting a new strict diet and I hated to be a pain when ordering as I too served many a years. The young server was so patient and very knowledgeable on preparations. He was patient and fantastic! I got a whitefish and vegetables and they were prepared perfectly to my specifications. My son had their pizza and ate the whole pie. He took the peanut butter pie to go and devoured it at home. The ambiance was superb, inviting and cozy. This will definitely be a constant stop when he is in school. I can't wait til I drop the pounds to really dig in next fall.

Food was delicious! I got the pork ribeye with asparagus, a side salad and choice of carb. I chose rosemary fries. So good.

We dined at The Rambler for my husband's birthday and were greeted by a friendly and experienced staff in a very stylish atmosphere. Our food was delivered promptly and was delicious (Grilled ribeye and chicken marsala). We enjoyed the picturesque view of the golf course through the large windows in the dining room. We highly recommend The Rambler and will definitely return again and often!

Food good , atmosphere wonderful. Food selection was minimal. Burger selection was one variety.

I love this place! I've only ever had great food and service. The bar is really cool, too!

Heard so much about this place so we and a few friends thought we would give it a try. Totally disappointed!! Steaks were chewy and some even over done. Some got a cold meal. Had to wait forever for cole slaw, really? Waitress was very apologetic, not her fault. Said they would make it right??4 out of 6 of us got free dessert. We didn't want dessert so we paid full price for over done steaks & stringy veggies. They just lost us as customers and free advertizing.

We really enjoyed this place! The view of the golf course from the dining area was such a beautiful backdrop this time of year. There is not a bad seat in the place to take in the scenery. Very clean with classy almost elegant decor. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. There was a rather extensive menu, with plenty of choices for those with dietary concerns. The food was delicious. We were there on a Friday, so I had the fish special and it was so good. And the portions were large enough that I had some leftover for the next day. This establishment was on par with a 4 star resort but the prices were not reflective 4 stars. Everything on the menu was fairly priced. There was live music in the bar area, which also looked very inviting in which to spend the evening. We will definitely return.
