The Pretzel Bar

Now located inside the Amish Country Market @ 15711 W. High St. Middlefield OH. I ordered a Steak & Cheese Pretzel Wrap. AWFUL. NASTY. GROSS. DISGUSTING. Literally a cheese stick that wasn't melted & "steak" that tasted like how dog food smells in a sweet ketchupy/bbq type sauce. Dough was still raw inside. I am not picky at all and this was so nasty. I'm sure a plain pretzel cooked all the way through would be good. But this I expected just steak and cheese and if anything some peppers and onions. Not whatever that was, it was so bad. I should have left as soon as I walked up to counter and girl serving the food was eating over counter, one foot away from customers food under heat lamp, with food falling out of her mouth and it falling on counter. But I didn't leave cause it didn't get on anyone's food & I heard this place was good and wanted to give it a try. It was $5.99 and way too small for the price, even if it was good. After getting the wrap I walked to the other side where bakery was. I asked for one blueberry fritter. Girl slammed it on the counter and asked it that was all. I said yes, just a bag please. I was confused why it wasn't placed in one already but she said they didn't have any bags. I said ok, do you have anything at all to put it in? She rolled her eyes and put it in a small box. Not sure why that was an issue, I've never ordered food and wasn't given something to carry the food in. And usually get a paper sleeve or a box when getting any pastry. Was I expected to hold it in my mouth while I got my wallet out to pay? What if it wasn't for me, why no packaging offered? The Fritter was good but I wouldn't go back or reccomend.

I do enjoy a good pretzel. This place has a different take on a wrap. They wrap all the stuff in a pretzel then back it. I like it.. different. Spoke to a few of the Amish Girls working the front. They seemed pleasant, and the service was quick. They were out of one or two things, but once I got the system down on what was available quick, that was no big deal. I'm not a fan of canned or overly processed cheese. I would love it if they did a steak and swiss pretzel, but the yellow cheese made it take a tad off to me.I have tried a few of the breakfast versions and I do enjoy those a lot. For some good cheap eats this is a good place. I would return.

Nice little Amish place. They've upgraded their store a couple times over the last few years from a trailer to a nice full shop. Best pretzel I've ever had and the Amish ladies working are always super nice. Good price too. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast wrap would have been good if they used real cheese not Kraft singles. Gross. Steak and cheese was steak ems real cheese and ketchup wrapped in a pretzel bun. That was better than the breakfast egg bacon with a ton of orange cheese.

Always a hit for a quick bite to eat. Always get myself a pepperoni and cheese, the other options are a little dry but taste pretty good each time. Wish they brought back the bbq rib, that was great. Staff are always friendly and do their best even when busy. Hope to see this place continue to thrive!

Seen the Pretzel bar on a tv ad in the morning so decided to try it out went in seen a couple Amish young girls in there working behind the counter. Ordered a Steak and cheese pretzel roll and a egg sausage and cheese one. I shared these with two other people so we can have a tase and we all came to the same conclusion. They were way to salty and the steak and cheese one had a not so good sweet taste. Price was $11 for both so they were nothing special.. I won't be going back they are just not that good....service was great but not the food... If I had to make a prediction, I see them closing in the future.. the every day fast food places near by do much better for taste on wraps..

Fantastic breakfast wraps and pretzels! Love to support local small business. Got there early for a fresh golden buttery pretzel wrap.

We have tried everything from the smoothies to donuts, to ice cream and coffee, and pretzels/pretzel sandwiches! Nothing has disappointed!!!! Service is always quick and super friendly! The store is clean and well taken care of!

Just got a plain pretzel but it was amazing, better than Auntie Anne's!!!!
