The most magical day we could have asked for from planning all the way to the day of. We loved everything about our day. The food was amazing the staff were all wonderful and able to move things around last second. I couldn't have had a more wonderful day/night and I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for an all inclusive venue.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars so badly..... It has amazing potential!! We attended a wedding here and the venue is lovely, especially if you have an outdoor wedding. Inside was nice too for the reception but the weather kept the bride from an outdoor wedding so it had to be held in the cocktail room. So here is The challenge.... You buy this has a flat rate basically which cool and the cost includes 150 people which is also cool to know your magic number for guests BUT if they have to change it to inside, only 50 people can sit which is a BIG problem in my mind with 150 people RSVP and there is no room for the guest or the processional even with 50 people sitting. Crappy conditions for inside wedding in my opinion. We knew it would be inside the day before so we started calling, emailing and facebooking guests to let them know that the bride/groom are just fine if they want to attend the reception only and explained that the ceremony conditions were small and people might have to stand outside ( it was extremenly cold). So thankfully only about 70-80 showed up for the ceremony ( so 20-30 people had to stand ( in high heels for some). They only put chairs in the front of the room so there is standing room in the back but since we got the crowd down so much, they could have easily thought to put 20 more chairs in the back portion of the room ( or as many as could fit) for those standing. I assumed that was Aubreys job to look for stuff like that, as she was the coordinator. They provide an adorable card box for gift cards and personalize the front for the bride/groom... ..very cool touch as the they get to take home that front glass part to frame later. Unfortunately they spelled the last name wrong on the card box and of course now that is in the pictures. attentiona to detail.Like I said above, the weather got rough.,very windy and cold. blew the tents actually and they had to remove those. As a matter of fact, the electricity went out for a couple hours ( they had one generator so it helped with the lighting and the DJ which was great....made for intimate lighting which we all liked). What the bridal party did not know however was that when the electricty went out, so did the well which meant no toilet flushing and no hands washed for 2 hours.... really?? You have not prepared for that ? Now since we only had electricity near the DJ, the cocktail room where the bride had put a recognition to her maid of honor that could not be in attendance as she is serving our country and the special treats she had made for guests puppies, was totally dark so no one could see those. Those should have been brougt in to the reception hall. The food was brought in from a local restaurant and it was really good overall but not hot enough and the flank was tough but the mac/cheese, chicken and noodles/cabbage were all really good. I am guessing they brought the food too early so the little warmers were not on long enough to heat the food back up to temperature maybe. As far as handling the guests, the owners should switch rolls. Aubrey is nice enough for sure but honestly, she walked around with a scowl the entire time and I know she had alot on her mind but smile for gosh sakes, it's a wedding..... even when I tried to make her smile, it was a partial one. Doug was friendly, always asking how you are doing when he popped out and always had a smile.... The guests and bridal party need that more in my opinion. Looking at PICTURES, you can see Aubrey numerous times and she is dressed down in jeans and never a smile...I know she does not need to be in heels for goodness sakes, running around but come one...dress up a little, it's a wedding. Atleast Doug had on a collared shirt and a smile on at all times. This place has amazing potential and I know it's only 2 years old but I hope they learn from their issues because the backdrop is stunning on the outside in the pictures I saw from previous weddings outside. I am excited for their potential actually and know that these folks can make bank on this venue if they really take to heart the opInions.

I had my wedding at The Place at 534, and all I can say is that I'm still pretty convinced I dreamt the entire thing. Everything was perfect. The grounds are so beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and literally nothing went wrong. What a well oiled machine they are. We are very lucky to have had the opportunity to have our wedding here. Also, most reviews that are not PERFECT about this venue is the contingency plan for if it rains. They actually added a pavilion in early 2019 so that if it rains, everyone can fit and the wedding can move forward with no interruptions. The only reason someone would NOT get married here, is if they did not want the wedding of their dreams. This is The Place.

I picked The Place at 534 back in 2022 before the construction took place of their new facility. By adding the addition of their new building really takes the cake for their venue. Their grounds are beautiful, their facility is beautiful, and how they decorate the venue is beautiful but their customer service is not beautiful. Doug, Audrey, and Marcie are not the most friendly people and they are rather rude. The only person that was friendly was their day of coordinator Jess. Through the whole wedding process they had a rude attitude. I also chose not to go with some of their vendors and I received feedback from my vendors that The Place and 534 were very rude to them as well. Also, their contract is not up to date (at least it was not when I signed it) and when I had questions about it because things they were saying did not add up to what was in the contract they basically said we were not here to discuss the contract. Overall they do put on a beautiful wedding but they need to remember we are paying A LOT of money, our total amount we gave to them (we opted out of their photography services, cake,) was a little over $32,000 And they were not flexible and every time we asked to do something it felt like we were bothering them or inconveniencing them. Just be ware of their attitude when booking but they do put on a beautiful wedding.

My boyfriend and I accidentally arrived at this venue after getting on the wrong wedding shuttle (lol). It should have been a nightmare, but we are SO grateful that the shuttle we mistakenly got on took us to The Place at 534. The staff were unbelievably understanding of our situation and extremely warm, helpful and friendly. They continuously checked on us as we were waiting for an uber/Lyft and even offered us waters and invited us inside. After Uber and Lyft both timed out multiple times (because there were no drivers in the area) Audrey (the owner) offered to drive us. Audrey and her family were truly a godsend for us. We couldn't believe our luck that of all wedding venues we accidentally came to, we happened to arrive at the most professional, understanding and welcoming one in the area. The venue is gorgeous by the way! Very picturesque. I think the way Audrey and her family treated us that day speaks volumes to how amazing they'd be to work with. If I were getting married in the area The Place at 534 would be a no brainer!

From a bride that chose this venue:The Place at 534's venue all inclusive package was just what we were looking for. My fiancé and I chose our date and put down the security deposit. It was at that point, our entire experience with them changed. We started to not getting responses from our texts and calls. When we did finally get a response, it was to tell us that it was not our time and they would reach out to us when they were ready. But in the mean time per contract we were suppose to keep sending them money. Every time we sent them money, it was a fight to get a receipt. When my fiancé said something about it, Audreys response was "I don't sit at a desk all day, I wish that was my job". The receipts we did receive were wrong. They always had part of the balance due for cake and flowers. Which we were using a family members business for both. That was another issue. They do not like you using outdoor vendors and make everything extremely difficult and dodge questions they needed to make my vision happen. There were so many things that we were told would be included but we ended up getting up charged for. They always said if there was anything we wanted or needed they would take care of it but then they would turn around and say no we don't do that. For example, they do not do a champagne toast even though we were the ones bringing in the alcohol. Mind you, this was all before COVID happened. Once the pandemic hit, things only got worse. They started out, denying that our June wedding would be effected and things would just blow over. When the state shut down Audrey flat out told us that regardless they would under no circumstance refund us our money but they said they would assign us a date later in the year. Yes, they did offer to assign us a date 6 weeks after our original date but we did not feel comfortable taking another date when things haven't changed with the virus. We have a lot of older people that would attend and when we shared our fears of their lives being at risk, Audrey said that was our choice. If we chose to reschedule for next year it would cost us more due to lost funds for this year. She was so cold and callous and even stated "All I am worried about is keeping my business from going under". After that conversation, they sent us a text saying that they would no longer be responding to messages at that time. We were left just hanging with no solution. All we knew was that we wanted to keep our family safe and we choose to cancel. They refused for refund us over $10,000 because per contract they could cancel all events for no reason and not have to refund anything.

I want to sing the praises of the beautiful venue The Place at 534. From the very first meeting to the day of the ceremony the very professional yet approachable staff could not have been more accommodating. I was so impressed with their attention to detail insuring that nothing was missed and exactly what the bride and groom wanted. Fast forward to the day of the wedding (thank God for the beautiful day) my sister and I lounged around drinking a mimosa walking the beautiful grounds and enjoying the day. I was not stressed nor I believe the bride or groom. They absolutely took care of everything. No worries, no stress (a seating chart mishap was quickly taken care of by the amazing staff and what could have been a problem was quickly resolved-that alone made my day) and the details/flowers/dinner/cocktail hour went off without a hitch. I cannot thank you enough for making this most memorable day even more special. Take it from me - if you are planning a wedding please consider this beautiful venue - you will not be disappointed.

Our daughter had her wedding at The Place at 534 and it was perfect! From the dressing rooms all the way up to the last dance. The grounds were decorated just as beautifully as the main event hall. There was not one hiccup. The staff and owners were amazing...polite, courteous, helpful...absolutely a professional group. Somehow they made the wedding so personal! It fit our daughter and new son-in-law to a T! There is not one thing we would have changed and we are so happy our daughter chose The Place at 534. As Alex S. stated, a well oiled machine!
