The Olive Scene

Finally made it to the Olive Scene yesterday. They did not disappoint. So many options. Endless combinations. This evening I prepared a simple salad and paired it with a few accoutrements. The salad dressing truly made the meal delicious. Shared this with my friend during our video call and now he wants some. Wondering if they ship internationally???

Gosh, I am so loyal to The Olive Scene. I first became introduced to The Olive Scene several years ago at a Yelp Elite Event and have been hooked ever since. This women-owned business is just fabulous. They are so helpful, kind and passionate about what they do.This gourmet tasting emporium allows you to sample their olive oils and vinegars. Whether you like a classic olive oil or flavors like pomegranate or vanilla, you can sample them all. I've learned a lot about cooking since shopping here and am now tuned into all the simple ways you can use it to flavor foods from pasta to ice cream. I'm not someone who necessarily loves cooking, but The Olive Scene empowers me to be creative.Another thing that's fabulous about The Olive Scene is their selection of gifts. I always find gorgeous hostess gifts, Christmas presents, and goodies for myself here. If you know a person that loves to set a beautiful table, you can easily find a gorgeous assortment of thoughtful items. Shop local this holiday season, and all the time!

My husband and I love a good olive oil and balsamic, so I've been wanting to check this place out. The woman working was so helpful, explaining the different kinds of oils and other items they sold. I love that they let you sample any of them before buying! Looking forward to using these this summer with breads and on caprese salad!

If you're into Olive Oil and vinegar this is the place. The selection here is amazing. You can't find stuff like this anywhere else.

What's not to love about this place? Customer service was outstanding and the flavors of oils and vinegars are incredible. They also provide recipes based on whatever you pick, and offer many other spices, pastas, sauces and dips as well as kitchenware. Give this place a visit - you won't disappointed! Looking forward to going home and cooking up a great dish!

I stopped in to get a gift for a client. I was honestly thrown off guard at how amazing this shop is. They have tons of olive oils, pastas, herbs, utensils. I got everything I needed in one spot and they even wrapped it for me. I will be making this a routine gift spot!

Olive me some oil. I'm so punny I can barely stand it. Slather me with oil and call me Slick Rick! Ok ok, I will stop being a dork and get onto the entire reason you're reading this review. No need to get huffy!I sadly had to miss the Elite events at this location. But I made a solemn vow to the powers that be to stop in and see this sexy little shop in this quaint plaza in Rocky River. Sweet mother of monkey milk, YASSSSS! I am so so glad I stopped in. You will be greeted with the most beautiful and friendly faces that are eager to help you. What a great first impression.The decor of this store is perfecto! It's like a little piece of Italy right in front of you. Warm, inviting, well laid out and easy to navigate. They sure got it right when they did the interior of this store. I love all the little cooking tools and ingredients to make your dishes extra special. Orange, chipotle, rosemary, butter, Tuscan herb and garlic. Those are just a small sampling of the VAST array this place has for flavored oil. Holy crap, I had no clue you could make olive oil even better than it starts out. This place sure knows how to do it and do it right! I love that you can sample each oil and make a solid decision on what suits you best. I left with Tuscan herb and chipotle. I eat it on my salads every single day!It doesn't stop there. They have the same vast selection on the balsamic vinegar side! My youngest fell in love with the espresso balsamic and my oldest loved the raspberry. What a great way to elevate a great salad or side dish.I cannot wait to come back and get more! Nom nom!

If you like olive oil, balsamic, or simply delicious flavors, you should definitely check this place out! It's located in the Beachcliff shops area of Rocky River right near the border of Lakewood. It's not visible from the street, so you'll have to park and walk around the shopping area to find it.The right side of the store offers sampling of at least 15-20 different flavored/infused olive oils, and the left side offers the same in balsamic. The raspberry infused balsamic was my favorite with a unique, tangy but not too powerful flavor. This shop also offers a variety of salts to bribe your meats and multiple seasoning blends to add to your olive oil for dipping. If you are someone who enjoys the are of cooking, or are looking for a unique gift, be sure to check out the Olive Scene.

This is such a cute shop with a great selection!The staff were incredibly attentive to what you needed, and even offered to make blends for you. They asked us our favorite flavors and suggested other flavors we may want to try, as well as providing some of their favorites as well.I made a poor choice in trying to try EVERY flavor of oil and vinegar while I was here, but it was very overwhelming. They suggest you use a new sample cup each time, which I felt bad about but it is important so flavors are not combined. I did not feel that the different olive oils were as bold of a flavor as I was looking for, but I did find many unique balsamic vinegars. The 18 year aged vinegar was delectable! My favorites were the ones that leaned more towards the fruity side. I could see any of these olive oils or vinegars elevating your favorite dishes or salads, so I would definitely try and come out here, especially if you have never been olive oil tasting! It was a great experience!

The olive scene is such a wonderful store.I really enjoy going in and getting acquainted with fresh new ideas for mixing balsamic vinegar's and unique oil blends.The staff is always fantastic and goes out of their way to assist you with introductions to new ways to use the oilsAnd vinegars.I stopped in to use a certificate I had and walked out with several new mixtures that I will be trying in the future.If you need a gift this is a great place to visit.Not only do they have mini bottles of all of the oils and vinegars but they also have great seasonings and spices as well as so many other cute entertaining and decor items as well.The staff is always welcoming and friendly.Highly recommend visiting.
