I have purchased The Olive and The Grape's vinegars & oils when they had a Kamm's Corner's location and then at the Westside Market and wow! Great to have in as staples in your cooking and awesome gifts. These are excellent products and how great to have these right here in Cleveland. But sadly, it really doesn't matter what you sell if your customer service is dismal. Despite great products you might as well NOT buy these unless you want that to be a 1-time experience because after that you will *NEVER AGAIN* be able to get them. The Westside Market inventory is very limited and the clerk there clearly is neither invested in the product or knowledgeable. The answer always is to stop my next time or the next week but the next week nothing will have changed -- same limited inventory, same lack of explanation. My most recent visit he told me I should call the Mentor store or email them to get the product at Westside Market. But guess what -- emails to the website are *never* answered. Calls to the store during the hours listed on the website, *no one ever answers* and when you leave a voice mail you will *never* get a response. The website does say they now have an online store but most of their products are not listed and the *website is non-functional* -- links do not work and you cannot order products. So there you have it! This is a business that has missed out on the very basic tenets of running a successful business -- valuing your customers new and repeat. It's looking to me that this is a business looking to file for bankruptcy in the near future because if you can't provide the product you sell then really, do you have a viable business? If you can't maintain your customers who want to buy your product then do you have a viable business? Rhetorical questions. Seriously. Rhetorical.I wish I could say "run, don't walk and buy these great products" but instead let's go with, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" (never mind that I've been fooled many more times than twice!)Bottom Line: Don't bother with this business -- find another locally owned business to give your support and your money. The End -- and it isn't a happy ending. REST IN PEACE, The Olive and The Grape.

Go get a bottle of their Liquid Gold ($18) to transform any salad/dish instantly! It is a mixture of premium olive oil, a 18 year old Balsamic Vinegar and herbs... Absolutely amazing! If you thought vinegar was just vinegar... which admittedly I did before discovering this place - your entire outlook on what you can do with Oils and vinegars will be changed! The place has an amazing selection of Balsamics and other vinegars and amazing oils for dressings, cooking, etc! Try it out!

The jalapeño lime balsamic vinegar is inedible. I am not a picky eater by any means, but I'm not exaggerating, it tastes like nail polish remover. Not to mention it costs $15 a bottle. Just the cost alone makes these products worth 1 star.

it is Candace's fault that I am now addicted to evoo & grapeseed oil from the Olive & the Grape. When I get low a panic sets in because it is imperative to my cooking now. The quality of the oils improves every dish raising it from ho hum to YUM! Good for the taste and the waist. Need to visit one of the locations when Candance is there so you get an education about your new ingredients. Mentor on Tyler blvd, east of 615, Tower City, or West Side Market near the diner. Who new that EVOO would be on my table like ketchup was in my youth!

Don't ever buy a certificate for an event! After YEARS of trying to arrange the event, I've accepted I'm out the $200. Such a scam!

The owner was so nice. She took the time to explain all the different products to me. I was able to try some samples so I could decide what to buy. The product is super fresh and transforms home cooking. I love how fresh everything is. And it is great to support a business in Lake County. Loved the basil dipping sauce. I liked it so well I stopped in and picked up several bottles for holiday gifts. Give this place a try it is totally worth it!

My wife paid for a class that was to be my birthday present in late October. The class was cancelled, and my wife has been trying to get a refund ever since. Many promises via email and Facebook message, but still no refund.I had the day off today, so I stopped by to see if I could speak to someone about a resolution. Ahead of me were two men looking to speak to the owner. They claimed that they had received a check over two years ago from an account that had been closed. The only person there claimed that she could take their name, but that was all she could do. They were pretty exasperated after being given the run-around for two years, and claimed they'd wait. When I relayed my issue, I was basically told the same thing. No way to contact the owner, and this employee could not issue a refund. What kind of retail establishment is this? The owner has NO integrity. She's counting on the fact that we won't pursue this in court since its only $50. Either this business can only be viable by cheating people, or the owner is willing to cheat and lie to anyone for a fee. I as a customer and the other two men in the store as vendors have been treated this way. How many employees have been cheated in a similar fashion? All I can do at this point is to try to get the word out.

Within a couple hours of disputing the charge with AMEX and writing this Yelp review. Candice wrote my wife (via Facebook). Coincidence??? She told her much of the same excuses and how it seems as though UPS and FEDEX consistently either lose or break her merchandise. Regardless, she stated she would send everything that day and follow up with a tracking # the next day. We have waited a couple days. No call, no email, no Facebook, no tracking #, and needless to say, no product. As I previously mentioned, par for the course. Who cares how good a product is with such dismal customer service. No regard. Simply deplorable.

Balsamic vinegars have become a bit of a craze. Of all that I have tried, my favorite is The Olive & the Grape. My favorites (so far) are Cranberry Walnut & Vanilla Fig but I have not tried a bad one. Candace is very knowledgeable and helpful and encourages you to try as many flavors as you like. Reasonable prices when you consider the competition. I stop by for a bottle or two whenever I am in town.

We ordered 4 bottles of Liquid Gold oil on July 24, 2011. Our credit card was charged immediately. We still have not received our order and it is November 14, 2011. No one answers the phone or returns phone calls. The person whose name was on our email order information has never returned our emails. Someone finally returned an email October 28, 2011 and said they would ship the order October 31, 2011 and we still have not seen our order.
