Local rat here found this phone and man this is some really good food I like the cheese bites middle service I god kicked out

We had a reservation 30 minutes after they opened for the evening. Got seated quickly but the wait for our mains was over an hour and we only had about 15 minutes to eat and settle our bill before we had to leave with just enough time to get to our show. My fries and sandwich were both room temperature by the time we were served. I appreciate they were busy but we were some of the first guests of the evening and were some of the last out on that rush. Last visit for sure. Sorry but true.

YUM! I was in town for the day and decided to try this place out! A great choice on my part because it was so good! When we first arrived, we got sat right away without a wait, which was awesome as it was fairly busy, but still quiet and welcoming! The Lockview offers MANY different grilled cheese sandwiches on their menu it was so hard to choose! To start we got the mac n cheese bites, which came out hot and ready for us to eat! It was the perfect app to munch on while we decided which sandwich to choose! We decided on the pesto one and the artichoke one to try (& split) and they were both filled with so much flavor! The bread was the perfect amount of crispy too!All sandwiches were served with goldfish crackers, or you could upgrade to fries, tater tots, etc! - I stuck with the goldfish because I also got a big bowl of tomato soup to dip my sandwiches in! (which of course was delicious) If i'm ever in town again I will be sure to come back and try more of those yummy sandwiches! I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Food was average at best. Service was terrible. I would have ordered a second drink but our server never came back after dropping off our food. Prices aren't bad at all.

Perfect spot for a low key dinner! We went here before seeing a show at Akron Civic (it is literally right across the street) and were pleased with the experience. They have a variety of grilled cheeses (the main part of their menu) as well as some other sandwiches and appetizers. I got the #8 (goat cheese, roasted red pepper, and spinach on Tuscan herb bread) and my companion got the #2 (essentially a pepperoni pizza grilled cheese). We both upgraded from the goldfish crackers - hand cut fries for me and sweet potato fries for her - and had no regrets! Everything was tasty and very reasonably priced, and the service was good too. Me and my swim team ate here (there are 18 of us). We were seated very fast and the waitresses were very polite. They made a few mistakes while serving us, they didn't give us enough utensils and I had to ask for 3 more. Then they didn't give us enough waters and had to ask for more as well. The worst mistake they made was that while handing out a plate to the table one of the waitresses spilled the Tater Tot's on the table. They apologized for the mistake and brought out more Tater Tot's. It wasn't a huge deal but it can't go unnoticed.

Sorta gave me the 70's vibe!! Hard ass seats lol They were outta the Krab Dip (I was damn near ready to leave lol) The waitress was sweet suggested the Lawsons dip and chips. I didn't know the place specialties is grilled cheese . I got the grilled cheese with a portobello mushroom caramelized onions roasted garlic w/swiss cheese for around 10 bucks I added a chicken breast for 5-6 dollars. Honestly I coulda did without the chicken added a side of tots for like 2 dollars more. I think if you wanted a side like pasta salad, salad, sweet potato fries or fries it's addition 2 dollars slaw or goldfish no charge. My friend ordered fish soft taco w/ slaw I wasn't impressed sorta tooo soft sloppy made. He didn't say nothing but did mention if we come back he's not getting the fish taco. They played 70 music. I like the lantern lights throughout the restaurant. Black & white movie on both tv screens. *waitress mentioned there was a patio for the summer

Food was excellent and the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.Would definitely return whenever I'm in the Akron area.

Food was good not a lot of options if you don't want a fancified grilled cheese The service was good they had some music issues while we were there and our waiter forgot the soup but overall very good and would return!!
