Nice place in the woods. Clean and nice inside. Menu has a nice but not overwhelming selection. Service was good. Food came out nice and hot. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious. Came by because the sawmill was closed and stumbled upon a hidden gem. I had no idea this place existed. Now it's a staple whenever I'm in town. Friendly service and good food. What more could you ask for??Was lucky to see the emu come out when I got there!

Shoutout to our local community heroes! I t is a place where my husband and his friends have went for years every hunting season. We are truly thankful to see them continue to provide quality service and yummy eats. This venue provides a local feel and a great heart. The comfort food served here pairs well with the kindness of the staff. A nice way to chill out after a hunt and soak up the hospitality. We hope to sed this venue thrive for decades to come! Hunting season would not be the same without this tradition! Stay safe and healthy! Happy holidays!

Love the old school jumbo wings! A must order! Dry and wet sauces available. Nice and crispy skin & delicious meat. They have awesome sandwiches, burgers and much more. They have indoor and outdoor areas. Smoking available downstairs. Ed the Emu says hi! We visit whenever in tow

An okay place to grab a drink after being out on the Clarion river or out in the trees of Cook Forest. Moreso a biker bar than a family place. I don't expect much from places in small, more tourist-based towns, ESPECIALLY during/ post-Covid, but unfortunately I still have to give this spot 2 stars. We ordered a handful of burgers and sandwiches, everything came out almost cold or slightly above room temp. Everything else was also like, okay. Edible, we were hungry, it got the job done. Beers were cold, in bottles, and we left relatively happy campers (no pun intended!). Wouldn't recommend for food, but the bar looked fine!**Note: I feel like every review I write for 2020 and beyond has to be taken with a grain of salt and understanding. Covid has changed a LOT in this industry and I know everyone is doing their best!  My reviews are just that - my experiences so you know what to expect - but everything is worth giving a shot at least once!**

I highly recommend avoiding dining here. I gave two stars because the place was clean and the service was fine. Unfortunately the food was incredibly underwhelming: the burger was small, the wings had no meat on them (for $2 a wing), the pizza was frozen, and the apps were beyond greasy. The ambiance was awkward with no music. I always hate to write a poor review on a small place, but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake my group has made..

Not accustomed to spending so much on two hamburger platters,but everywhere we ate in this region was expensive. The service was good. The food was good. Not extremely busy. Enjoyed it very much.

We ate here here multiple times while staying at a local Airbnb. I was surprised to see some of the reviews, our experience was great. The food was very good, highly recommend the wings. The atmosphere was very relaxed and everyone was kind.

Stopped to grab a burger and drink with the family. The 1/2lb burger was pretty awesome, pleasantly surprised. Bartender/server was very friendly and service was quick.

Been coming here for about 3 or 4 years... USED TO love Knotty Pines. But, the prices seem to have gone up and service quality down. All the bartenders are so rude. Also, be careful that they're not ripping you off... What I do shots of is $4. The one bartender charged me $5 (four times) I didn't know that bartenders could set the prices as they see fit! (Next time I was there, I asked the owner how much it costs... Just to make sure). The wait time for anyone to even acknowledge your presence is ridiculous. The only good thing is Eddie the Emu and some of the other customers... It can be a fun atmosphere if the other BS doesn't get to you. It's a shame... Very sad.
