The coffee, food, ambiance, service- 10/10!! Absolutely loved this cute find in Cleveland. It felt like being in a café in Europe. We got the labne & preserve tartine, and croque royale. So good!

This is a cute French-inspired cafe. I finally visited in December 2024. I love the decor and charm of the place. When I first visited, on 11 December 2024, I ordered to-go (takeaway order) for lunch. I got to meet the owner and he was really nice. He owns this cafe with his wife. When I visited for the second time (20 December 2024), I came to work for a few hours in the morning.FOOD -- I've had the below:(1) Croque Royale ($13) -- prosciutto cotto, tomatoes, persillade, jammy egg (for breakfast) - this is egg and ham on a thick toast. I rate it a 3.5/5 because it came cold and I didn't realize that the egg wouldn't be cooked all the way.(2) Cassoulet Salad ($16) -- kale, corona beans, pancetta, charred tomatoes, bread crumbs, and shallot rosemary vinaigrette (for lunch). I rate it 5/5 although it is quite expensive.DRINKS -- I've only had 1 tea option (I don't drink coffee)(1) Lavender Chamomile Rooibos ($4), Onyx tea brand - a herbal tea that is light and refreshing. Rooibos is a red tea from South Africa. My favourite was the cassoulet salad because it was filled with flavour especially the chunky pieces of pancetta. The shallot rosemary vinaigrette is a game changer that makes this salad the best that I've probably ever had. I tried to recreate this salad at home and it just wasn't the same but it tasted good. The reason it wasn't the was that I couldn't find a version of this salad dressing in my local grocery store plus I used prosciutto instead of pancetta because the same store did not have pancetta on hand (haha). To summarize, they have plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. As a reminder, when I visited the cafe a second time, in December 2024 (morning), the breakfast sandwich was cold plus my friend who joined me said that her sardines dish was also cold. So, that was a bit disappointing. Plus, on that same day, their internet (wifi) was not working so I picked the wrong day to work from home there (fine because my friend I later switched to working at Lekko Coffee shop).Service was pleasant during my two visits. Prices are steep but overall, the food is good. I'll certainly be back in 2025****GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025- 5/365 total reviews in 2025- 786 total Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 1 January 2025

The food was incredibly fresh, and the latte was enjoyable. The restaurant was packed the entire time we were there, which makes sense given its popularity. However, I wish the menu included photos to make it easier to decide on what to order. My family and I were unfamiliar with some items and felt a bit rushed by the person taking orders. While the food took some time to prepare, everything arrived exactly as we ordered. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I genuinely enjoyed visiting this location.

Judith is a beautiful place to go out and dine. I took my mom here one week ago for the classic cold weather dish beef bourguignon. We had some nice wine to go with the meal and split the bread and butter app. I cannot wait to come back and try more dishes. It also seems like a great place to hang out during the day time and have some drinks and work from the old laptop. People keep raving about the place called Jaja and how beautiful it looks. To that I say jajaja in Spanish. This place is more beautiful and authentic.

I haven't gotten a chance to eat a meal off of their main menu, however I have had a sample and I'm super excited to return. A friend invited me to a summer garden party the owners of The Judith were throwing in the empty lot next to their cafe. I originally went inside the restaurant which was closing. It's super cute and quaint inside. There's a bar that isn't too intrusive and several bistro like tables. The restaurant gets a ton of beautiful , natural light. This was my first time at the restaurant and I was initially surprised by the location. It's right off the highway on Lorain Avenue. I was expecting it to be near the other restaurants in the more developed portion of the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, It's not far, but feels pretty different. My surprise quickly turned into happiness, as it's nice to see more great locally owned businesses spread out across this neighborhood. The empty lot next to the restaurant is just a basic green space with a few big trees that provide shade to the back. It would be lovely if they built out a patio in this space. The event was a welcome to summer party, they served grilled oysters 6 for $20, citrus olives and some type of nuts. There was also Aperol spritz', some beer, NA beer, and wine. The oysters were absolutely delicious. They were fresh and made to order. They put some type of butter herb sauce on them that I literally could have drank from a bowl. The olives were also phenomenal. I loved the hint of citrus and rich oil. This party was a beautiful little sample of what this place is all about. Delicate, fresh food in a calm space. Can't wait to return.

I've been dying to try this place for some time now and finally got to stop by on a chilly Saturday morning. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the people behind the bar. You take a menu and order at the bar. They bring the food to you. We ordered the labne and blackberry preserves, butter and radish, and the croque royale, all served on sourdough toast. We also got a hot chocolate with oat milk. The hot chocolate was just ok (could have used more chocolate) but the tartines were all super good! The place is super cute, very vintage aesthetic decor. I will definitely be back!
