The Hooley Pub & Kitchen

I visited in early December 2023 with a date. It was my first time at Hooley Pub & Kitchen in the Strongsville location. We arrived for dinner (around 6:30pm I think) and we were seated at the bar because they were very busy.It's very large inside so if you arrive on a busy Friday night like I did, then you may have to wait for a table. I suggest snagging a bar seat like my date and I did if you don't want to wait for a table.FOOD -- They have an extensive menu so you will definitely find something that you like. My date and I both ordered the Norwegian Salmon ($23) which came with 2 sides. I got coleslaw and mini potatoes (tater tots) as my sides and he got broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy. We both got the salmon slightly blackened on the skin. The Norwegian salmon was delicious and I highly recommend it. My sides were just as expected (fine) and I think I had to add ketchup to the tater tots since they needed flavour.I don't like close to this pub but if I'm in the area again then I won't mind stopping by. ****GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024- 5/150 total reviews in 2024- 655 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 1 February 2024

Just like their other location off of I480, this place is warm, cozy, and offers a great place to watch the ball games. Great food menu, beer selection, and a full bar. Food is really good. Highly recommend the boxty tots for an appetizer! They are freaking delicious, especially dipped in the chipotle mayo. Service is always great here.

I am not a meat eater but I decided to try their burger and it was so GOOD and juicy! I worked definitely try one again. I do have to say I'm not a fan of their fries, I like my fries soft on the inside and crunch on the outside these are more like chips. I wish I would have order the tater tots. The server was friendly and the restaurant reminded me of a place you can go and hang out with friends. Over all I would give it a 7/10

The Veteran's Free dinner was anything on their menu. The waitress suggested the steak! It was cooked to perfection and the broccoli was tasty. Hooley House is our new go-to restaurant. It wasn't noisy, the place was orderly, and restrooms were clean

I really like the food here, and they cook with canola oil (for those of you who share my soybean allergy). The service was great, and the restaurant decor is great. I'm a big sports fan, and I liked the tv placement.

Decent enough place. Staff is nice and the facility is clean. The floors are concrete and utilitarian. Good spot to watch a game.Be sure to check your receipts thoroughly though. The charges from menu are not what they charge for the actual item...

Second time to in here, first time was okay, they had just opened. Went here before Dune 2 movie, had Cajun chix, was pretty tasty. Bar staff on their toes, solid double makers on ice, nice pour!Wish they had Keno, maybe next time. Place was filling up as we left, after 2 1/2 hour movie, place was still bustling. Def will go back.

Welcome to Strongsville Hooley Pub & Kitchen! The food here was great we had boneless wings (Hooley hunks), regular wings, salad, Irish egg rolls, and some pub chips. The ranch dressing was amazing! We enjoyed all the food and the servers were attentive and nice. We will be back!

What do you imagine when you think of a pub? Small setting, great food, and better drinks. Sadly, The Hooley had none of these. There was 0 passion behind the cocktails. After the cocktails, the kitchen served us our appetizers. There was 0 depth to the salad, and the skins were dry. Also, the wings had a strange pickleTaste to them. Our table could not process where the strong pickle flavor came from. Sadly, the entrees were no better. The fries were the worst that I have had in a while. Dryness is the best way to describe them. Lastly, the ratio of Turkey to bacon in the wrap was incorrect. I am a believer in 1:1 Turkey to bacon for a club. The Hooley was close to 4:1. The one upside was the service. The young man helping us did the best he could with what he was presented. Ultimately, The Hooley needs more buy-in even to be considered an average restaurant.

This is the worst food Ive ever had. The steak looked and tasted like the $3 steaks from dollar tree. The burger was dry and crumbly. The service was also terrible. The restaurant was not busy and our server kept us waiting and was barely at the table.
