We are from Buffalo NY. We were visiting Cleveland as my daughter needed treatment at the Cleveland Clinic. I know there's kosher restaurants in Cleveland, but I was unaware of a supermarket like the Grove. What an amazing place! If Ilived in Cleveland, I'd be there every week! To see the variety of baked goods , pizza, sushi, sandwiches, condiments, and ability to buy fresh kosher meat was almost overwhelming. There is nothing here, like the Grove in Buffalo, New York. I haven't been in Toronto in a while, and I I did not see anything in Spring Valley New York a few weeks ago, that compared to this supermarket. Everyone was helpful, everyone was nice. As an example: I was looking at the selection of sandwiches in the cold case and I dropped a corned beef sandwich. I was embarrassed, and I looked up and there was a young man in the pizza shop waving to me. "Don't worry about it, we'll take care of it". Someone else came up to me with a waste basket, and I helped clean up my mess. The pizza guy who went in the back for a moment, came over with a spray bottle and a bucket and wanted to know where it went? He reassured me, I was good. I ended up buying two sandwiches. In addition to Chalah, chopped liver and crackers. I was so impressed that when my daughters stay was over On Friday, we went right over to the Grove to load up for the ride home. The young lady behind the bakery counter was unbelievably helpful. She steered us towards a couple of desserts that I've never had before and they were exceptional. As we were checking out, the cashier told us about the Grove rewards card. Since I was there with my ex-wife, it became awkward, because I said we needed two cards. The woman was great and got us two cards. If you're visiting Cleveland, [I don't care whether or not you're kosher], you should check this place out. Also, I bought a pretzel Chalah; it did not survive the car ride home. It was so good. The only thing that I had an issue with, was they put tomato slices on the corned beef and pastrami. Maybe they had sandwiches without the tomato on display, and I didn't see them. Not a horrible inconvenience to tear them off, however.

We love the Grove. It's so nice to have this in Cleveland. My family loves the sushi and baked goods. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is always great. Definitely check it out. This is not your mother's kosher market.

They have chopped liver toward the end of the week made fresh for about $16-17 per pound which is the highest price in Cleveland (but it is kosher). It has honey added to it which is unusual for the other chopped liver in the area and it makes it sweet...something I'm not used to, but not bad either.

A truly Kosher, very large grocery. A vast selection of products, including a bakery, a hot line of prepared entrees, and real chopped chicken livers. Prices are very high, but understandably so, given Kashrut and the degree of cleanliness when compared with many of the small local places.
