The Gaucho & The Gringa

Hell to the yes.We tried Gaucho and The Gringa at an event at quarry Hill orchards. It had started to downpour, but GG was still out there serving hungry folk. I'm so glad we stayed, because our food was awesome!Their slogan is 'where the north and the south meet in your mouth' and they are living up to the hype! Fusion can be difficult to do, but this was a perfect combo. I had the choripapas- which is fantastic bratwurst crumbled over fries with nacho cheese and onions. It was easy to eat, a generous portion, and best of all- delicious. Husband loved his Gaucho burger. The staff was so friendly and upbeat. I highly recommend a visit to their food truck!

Amazing, delicious, must try! We ordered the fresh cut cheese fries, and they we absolutely delicious. The empandas were the best we have ever had!! You won't be disappointed.

Pretty cool little food truck! I got their special which added avocado and fried egg to the choripapas. I didn't get the fried egg myself though. It was very tasty! The fries were perfectly done, and a bit salty but that combined really well with the flavor so I'm not complaining!I assume the "chori" refers to chorizo, but it must be Argentinian for that to be in a sausage style rather than a ground meat style. My only real complaint is that it was advertised as big enough for two, and $15, which seems consistent, but I really feel like this is a single person's worth. If you split it even between two thin people, I think it'd be more of a snack.They did have other items that were cheaper ($9-10) that could be worth trying. Otherwise, up to you if you feel it's worth $15. Happy to make this little lunch stop :)

I got the opportunity to taste their food at the Quin Stock festival at the Twin Oats brewery Their empanadas were really good specially the beef since I love the most and reminded me of my mom empanadas. The Chimichurri was amassing and Jorge was really nice. I'm enjoy talking about our neighboring Countries since I'm from uruguay. Their food tasted awesome and I would recommend it to everyone. Reminds me of Rio de la plata food.

Visited their food truck at Cedar Point, very lovely and knowledgeable couple! They were able to tell us everything that went into our food to avoid food allergies, plus everything was absolutely delicious!

What find!!! Next time we are on the North coast, I will find this food truck! The owners are adorable and so fun. The empanadas were the BOMB! So tasty, crispy, beefy goodness

Hands down the best burger in Sandusky. Toasted brioche bun, perfectly seasoned burger, juicy with fresh tomato and lettuce. Tasty fresh cut fries. The empanadas were amazing. Crispy, fried to perfection and not at all greasy. Our kids destroyed them in minutes. They also participate in the mytown2go home delivery service so you can have it delivered right to your door in no time. I highly recommend.

The empanadas are great. They said it was his mother's recipe and it had ground beef, egg and olive. Very tasty. Well worth finding the truck for lunch.

We had The Gaucho & The Gringa at our son's graduation party this weekend. All of the food was excellent and everyone there had nothing but good things to say. Shannon and Jorge are great people and very interesting to talk to. The empanadas, burgers, black bean burgers and even the hot dogs are delicious. I would recommend to find them anywhere or hire them for your event.
