The Flour Barrel

The lunch meat was so good. Family, fun and comfortable atmosphere. There was a lot of gluten free options. Go check it out. You'll love it.

I had no idea this place offered lunch options. While you can pick 3 meats and one cheese to build your own, it's way better to get the special hoagie. Everything was fresh sliced and assembled with care. This amounts to a fresh, flavorful sandwich that's really affordable. There are also really great bulk foods here too!

Stopped by during my lunch for the first time. I got the Flour Barrel Special sandwich. It was delicious. Very generous portions of meat and cheese. The sandwich filled me up and for $5.00 that's hard to beat. They are also the only place around that I have found "Joe Tea" which is worth the visit alone. I will go here for a sandwich over subway any day. Look forward to my next visit. The only thing that disappointed me was they did not have a table or chairs to sit and eat.

Sandwiches are ok, but they've now restricted kids meals to 12 years old and under. An adult sandwich is too big to eat for my lunch, the kids meal sandwich is a perfect size for lunch. Guess I will have to take my business elsewhere.

The Flour Barrel is a great shop. Aside from flour, they offer carrier oils, essential oils, snacks, specialty meats and and have a great deli in the back. Definitely a great find in Ashland.

I was in town on business and stopped here based on yelp reviews. I had the roast beef hoagie with horseradish. The sandwich was excellent, they take very good care of you here. I will be coming back next time I'm in town, would definitely recommend!

A great little secret. Fresh ingredients and a lot of choices. Wonderful sandwiches. Made to order. Call ahead and they will have it ready.

I was visiting my sister and she suggested this place. She called in our sandwich order so it would be ready when we arrived - we ordered 5 sandwiches. The sandwiches were HUGE-lots of meat. They were also DELICIOUS!!! What a value for $5! I had a Reuben-one if the best I've ever eaten. While we were waiting I also picked up some cheese and had some bologna freshly sliced to take with me. I also picked up a few things from the shelves - homemade corn chips with flax seed which were also very good. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

The people are so nice and helpful! I have dietary restrictions, and they have really helped me get items. The atmosphere is very quaint and peaceful. Makes you want to relax and have a cup of tea there. We also enjoy browsing through their bulk foods, finding new items to try. We drive 45 min to go there, but they are worth the trip!

I did not realize that the Flour Barrel offered a "Tea Room"!!! There is a spot in the store with comfy chairs where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. They also have books available that you may read while you are there or borrow and return at your convenience. There was relaxing music playing in the background and the staff was warm and welcoming. Thank you for providing a peaceful place to enjoy within our community!
