Came here for my brother in laws 21st birthday. The bar was dead, which wasn't a bad thing. The bartender was attentive and made GREAT drinks! We ordered food, they have basic bar food, but it was delicious. My husband and his brother got the chicken bacon ranch wrap which was huge. I will saw it was stuffed full of lettuce which is what most of the bill was, but the wraps were still good. I ordered the chicken tenders they looked as though they would be mostly breading it I was pleasantly surprised that they were pretty meaty. We ordered 2 rounds of shots all of them were delicious. 1st round was the Sally Skellington, second round was 2 Jackals and 1 Withered Lover which legit tasted just like Hawaiian Punch. Overall they was a good experience and the prices were pretty good. We will totally be coming back in the future.

Dark, horror themed bar with tv pool tables and more. Only came to enjoy a couple beers, but hear the food here is great. Had my favorite bumble berry beer by fat heads. Seems like typically there's a horror movie playing on the tv and the bar is lit w black lights and glow in the dark type decor. Was pretty empty at 5 pm on a Friday night. They have happy hour 4-9. Good spot for a change of scenery, looking forward to trying the food menu next time.

Just your typical dive bar. I came here expecting to get a nice draft beer and was only given the options of can or bottle. I was told the food was very good. The inside of The Dark Room has a lot of seating, dart boards, a pool table and nice bartenders.

TL;DR: The Dark Room has few craft beers on tap, but makes up for it with an interesting atmosphere and music. The Dark Room has a good selection of craft beer bottles, but very few are on tap. I remember the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy and Brew Kettle White Rajah a lot in the summer, and Pumpkin beer in Autumn. There is a decent selection of the normal domestic and import on draft - Bud Light, Miller Light, Guinness, etc. I normally liked what was on tap, but wished there was more variety. As for cocktails, the Dark Room prides itself on horror-movie-themed mixed drinks - Jack Skellington, Crystal Lake, and Frankenstein are some examples. I also remember being told the bartenders made unusual stuff like whiskey and hot sauce upon request. The $2.00 bottled domestics during Happy Hour is a good price. The burgers were always well-made, better than an average tavern. The fried chicken wraps were a little over-breaded, but this may just be personal preference. Prices are decent for a Cleveland bar.The bartenders were always friendly, especially Andy and Tonya. Tonya was the Asst. Manager and cared about the bar's success.I never knew who to expect on a given night. Before 9:00p, patrons were casual, just getting drinks after work. After 9:00p the place fills up and gets more interesting customers. Some of the patrons I observed were well-dressed businessmen in modern blazers and jeans, construction workers, cross-dressers with platform shoes (yes, really), goth girls, and sports fans in Cavs jerseys. Most experiences I had were positive, although the occasional regular would get rude if they didn't like your music. There seemed to be a rotating group of locals that carved out their own place at the bar.The atmosphere draws customers. The managers do a great job creating a relaxed atmosphere, while pushing for a hard rock / cult classic / horror movie theme. Much of the lighting is achieved through black lights, with horror posters on the walls. The bartenders run movies (closed-captioned), or local sports. On Sunday, they ran shows like The Walking Dead. The accepted music was also a big attraction, as the bar prefers heavy metal - Beartooth, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Primus, etc. are all welcome plays on the Touchtunes jukebox. Occasionally, managers decorated for an event like Halloween, which added to the bar's appeal. In terms of activities, there is Keno, pool, and darts. Most people come for the atmosphere and music.I had a lot of fun nights, and met a lot of interesting people, at the Dark Room. I would go back if I was in the area, and felt like a beer with some heavy metal.

This was very good and they play horror movies too!!! Underrated to be exact, the best kind honestly. The drinks are so good you get more then one or two and you're still feeling sober which kinda sucks but it's good too. They have the best veggie burger around. The service is amazing the experience is once or several times a lifetime. Going back for sure

The Dark Room has a great atmosphere for horror movie fans. Their cocktail menu is very appealing. The food is your typical bar food.Service as far as the bartenders is hit or miss. Sometimes they are amazing, other times they seem to care less about taking care of you. At one point I was told I am only allowed to order one drink at a time, yet a gentleman approached the bar shortly after and was able to get a round of drinks for his party.I'm not sure if they have a high turn over rate as far as bartenders with each their own set of rules, but although a great place to hangout, a little more consistency within the staff would really help this business. I recently saw they have been hosting "emo night". I have not been to any of their events outside of one Halloween party, but it's nice to see them hosting more events.

Randomly went to this bar, wasn't scary at all. expected more jump scares and it wasn't even that dark. no haunted houses but it was still a cool vibe and drinks were good.
