An absolute must when I'm in Ohio. The entire Gervasi property is an Italian experience. The Crush House creates yummy drinks, delicious shareable apps and meals, and decadent desserts. Wait staff is usually pretty good but the ambience has a fun vibe, like an upscale pub feel. Great place to reconnect with friends, old and new.

We stopped here for some Horsd'oeuvres ahead of a late afternoon BBQ. The entire estate brought us back home to Sonoma style hospitality. We dined on sumptuous appetizers and flights of Gervasi Italian vintages. It was heavenly. The food was plated beautifully and the entrees were superb: calamari, meatballs, fried pilaf balls, cheesy breadsticks, fig infused pasta, and the charcuterie was divine.

Visited Crush House again. It's been a year since our last visit. This time, we brought friends. We were celebrating my mother-in-law's 75th birthday. We sat outside and there were heaters on the ceilings to take the edge off the cool breeze, which was nice. Our waitress was superb - fast, friendly, patient, attentive, and she had a great memory. We started off with drinks and appetizers and then moved into dinner. For appetizers, we requested cauliflower, a meat and chese tray, and loaded nachos. For dinner, I requested scallops, my mother-in-law, meatball appetizer, my father-in-law, salmon, and my wife, shortrib sliders. My scallops were served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My meal was perfect. The scallops were tender, cooked perfectly, and tasted wonderful. The esparagus was especially great and the mashed potatoes were good. My meal disappeared quickly and I loved it. I tasted my father-in-law's salmon and it was overcooked and didn't have a great flavor. The shortrib was excellent.Overall, The Crush House put out another excellent meal. And the ambience was quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. I'm sure we'll be back again.

The crush house was a very nice place to get cocktails, appetizers and dinner. Our server Lisa was great! She was on point with the menu; very knowledgeable; energetic; funny and very attentive. Happy hour was weekdays m-f 2 -6pm. Definitely worth going during this time to try new stuff. The vibe is very chill.... Laid back and just very enjoyable. We ordered the loaded chips; these have blue cheese, scallions, bacon and etc. it was a mouthful of goodiness. Ordered the mozzarella sticks... these are by far one of the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had. Very light and gooey and just plain delicious. For dinner I ordered the beef gnocchi... plentiful of meat... and this dish was nice and hot. Very good! My parents ordered the maghreita chicken... haha weird to have a bone in the chicken breast; but they said it was good too. For dessert we shared the blondie... I highly recommend this dessert.... The Carmel adds a nice touch over the ice cream. Very light and filling desert. Easily shareable. Very good!

Cesar salad from here was great, the location and cleanliness of the restaurant was good too, however service was not good. I only had taken a few bites of my appetizer and the waitress took it away from me and threw it in the trash, without asking. We addressed it, then she let us know we would get a refund and they would make me a new one to go. Then she came back and just charged is for it anyway. When we confronted her, she acted super confused all the sudden. Super rude, then in the midst of it, we let them know we HAD to be out asap, for a prior engagement. She ignored us and we waited for about 15 more minutes, I actually started crying because we were going to miss our appointment and couldn't leave without paying, the manager then came over and was passive and said, I hear there's an issue. I explained what was going on and we were extremely late to something important and she just walked away. Did not offer to make absolutely anything right for us. Worst service at any restaurant in a LONG LONG time. Save your money, don't go here. Beyond rude.

The service was wonderful, our server was highly attentive and well versed in the menu and drink menu. The food was excellent as well! The restaurant was intimate, quiet (it was a Monday night, given), and the vibes were relaxing.

Had the Braized Short Rib Gnocchi. It was awesome! I'm not sure I can ever order anything else beside that dish when at Gervasi Crush House because it was so good! Kudos!

Just an awful meal today. Overpriced un-chewable steak with onions and burnt broccolini buried under a bed of overdone orzo. Absolutely no taste. The first cut of the meat was so tough, the force of my knife sent orzo flying on the tabletop. Was seated upstairs extremely close to a party of 4-6 noisy people. Several tables of them. Never will return. Hostess was extremely snotty. Waitress was wishing she wasn't there.
