Visited Brew Kettle again for dinner since we were given a gift card. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Then a waitress arrived, gave us menus, and took our drink requests. I requested root beer. After I received the bottle, I noticed that it was home made.We didn't opt for an appetizer and we went straight for dinner. On this occasion, I requested the grilled cheese sandwich with fries, my son requested a hamburger, and my wife requested a chicken caprese sandwich. About 15 minutes later, our food was delivered. The fries were hot, fresh, and tasted good. My grilled cheese sandwich was very tasty. My wife's chicken sandwich was delicious and my son made his burger disappear quick.Great meal and great service!

Not coming back here. My wife and I have been coming here for years, but the convenience fee is ridiculous. 3% convenience fee is totally ridiculous. When I go to target or Walmart, they don't charge me a convenience fee. Why does a restaurant have to charge me a convenience fee for using credit card? The last time I will be coming here.

I hate to post negative reviews and this one hurts because we have been huge supports of this venue for over 10 years. We ordered 2 Sammie's for take out. 3 little pigs and pastrami Rueben. The slider buns were hard. As if they had sat under a lamp for hours. The bacon is a single slice of pork belly. The pastrami came out to be turkey. 3 slices of turkey. I did call when we got home and she refunded the Rueben and I thank her for at least doing that much. But this new menu no longer is meeting their prior superior level of food quality. So disappointed.

While the food tasted great, and I could make an exception for the slow service... The convenience fee did not set well! It used to be illegal to pass along the fee for using a card to the customer! I guess if need money that badly you'll have to get it from someone besides me.

Stopped in for dinner, overall food wasn't terrible. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of white cheddar Mac n cheese. The mac and cheese lacked flavor and the pulled pork seemed a little greasy. The smoked chicken pot pie and Buffalo chicken dip were tasty though. They have a great beer selection. The ambiance is a little gloomy, this place is located in a strip mall off Pearl and has dim lighting but lots of wall decor. Overall, not a terrible meal or place but probably won't be back.

Pita chips that come with their corn dip and nachos are alo terrible. Chips would be better. Pita is thick, hard, and dark-colored. Some of their food is good, and their beer is good. Just, maybe check for photos and reviews before you order.

First time dining here since their menu change and we were disappointed with the new choices.A lot of the staples that drew us and our friends here were gone. Ordered the tacos with smoked jerk burnt ends and they were hard,chewy and overly messy. Two dollar up charge for onion petals as a side. My wife's chicken sandwich was average and again an up charge for a side salad instead of fries. Service was good as usual but the music was a bit loud and bassy Checked out the golfing game area (Chuck E. Cheese for adults) as we were leaving and it was empty except for the lone barmaid. Seems like they're ditching their regulars to attract a different type of crowd. We've been coming here for over 15 years but it's recently changed. No need to return. Adios.

This place is so cool because they have a lot of variety of beer on tap, including their own beers!Menu was very good for anyone! Not all fried, but some more healthy choices and not battered items on the menu.They even dabbled in some barrel aged sours! So unique!!I hear they had a nice patio too!

Ok, I've been here multiple times over the years and it's been good. I hadn't been here for a while and I mentioned to the waitress/bartender that I had a fish sandwich that was no longer on the menu. She said oh yeah that was the walleye or the perch. I ordered the fish and chips and it was not good, to put it mildly, heavy breading, kind of greasy, very little fish. I had a huge pile of breading on my plate. She came back at the end and asked how it was and I told her it was. pretty mediocre, actually kind of bad. She said oh, I'm sorry. She said yeah it's completely different than the walleye that you used to get on the sandwich, this breading is completely different. Well why the hell didn't she say that before I ordered it?I did want a Diet Coke refill but she was talking to her friends at the other part of the bar and never came by to check. I realize it's a Sunday buy there were people in the restaurant, they weren't slow. A really poor experience and the only response was "Oh well, come back and try something different".I probably won't.
