The Boujie Bakery

I added a star for today's review as they seem to be improving somewhat in terms of offerings. Still just water and Snapple in the half empty drink fridge, but now offering a variety of milkshake flavors and some regular convenience store candy bars for a buck each. Bathroom is open now. Floor is less cluttered but still a white floor will always struggle with looking dirty due to foot traffic. Nice female cashier as always. The cinnamon roll cookie was beautiful but hard and lacking in flavor which is so sad. If it had more cinnamon even it would make an aesthetically appealing snickerdoodle.

After passing by on my way home I made it a point to google this adorable bakery and made my way there the very next day. It was about 2pm, they closed at 8pm and it was a Thursday so I was pretty confident they would have a decent inventory. There is a parking lot and the store is super easy to find. Inside you enter a delightful world of desserts , beautifully decorated and very appealing. But unfortunately that's as far as I can rave. They had Very limited cupcake choices, the standard birthday cake, chocolate, strawberry and Oreo, red velvet. They had THREE day old Maple bacon cupcakes. I asked the worker if they had the ones from the website that drew my interest and she was very rude and said "no we out", I said ok, do you have cheesecake bites?" "No we ain't got that either", so then I asked her "what's a pupcake" she said "we don't have it " , so I didn't ask if you had it I asked what it was. At this point I was annoyed at the lack of professionalism, she seemed almost annoyed that I was in there . They didn't have any funnel cake, a half empty cooler of Snapple and water, not even milk. And FOUR cupcakes. I was so disappointed. The cupcake batter tasted the same for all of them.They make shakes but I was afraid to inquire without fear of her ripping my head off at the answers. I noticed some banana pudding cupcakes and got one of those, they were separated from the other cupcakes and so I didn't see them originally. The thing is this, this place has so much potential. They should keep up with inventory, change the workers attitudes and get some pairings for the cupcakes. For example milk, some cookies, something. Nothing about this place hit me as "Boujie" and I'd honestly take my money to colossal or Corbos before I came back.

such a cute place!! first of all the smell of funnel cakes and love (smack u in the face) HUG you as u walk in!! i couldn't even look at the menu while my eyes were feasting over the cheesecakes, reese's peanut butter muffins, and red velvet cakes... lol it took about 10-15 minutes to bring the shakes out but i imagine they're busy since they also do custom cakesanyways.. i ordered a chocolate covered strawberry shake and was super ecstatic to know that they have non dairy options (almond milk ) -- although the CHOCOLATE whip cream isn't but i didn't mind by the sounds of it after tasting it, my heart was won over and well i gotta go finish my shake guys.

I have seen this bakery all over my social media and decided to give it a try. Woah, the variety of items on the menu, sooo many things to choose from. I got the birthday cake funnel cake, so delicious and everything is made in house. The location can be tricky to find with parking but there is parking across the street also. Try a cupcake or make a funnel cake but whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.

Today was my first time coming into this bakery. Walking up to the door, they had delightful smells coming from the window. Walking in, cashier didn't greet me and fiancee. While observing inventory; I noticed she had a glove on dealing with the last customers food order and payment. Once I was the next customer, SHE NEVER CHANGED HER GLOVE. She grabbed my cheesecake bites(2), cupcake & cheesecake taco WITH THE SAME GLOVE. Went to the register to ring me out, STILL HAD THE SAME GLOVE ON. Glove was never changed from last payment transaction to grabbing my food items. Glove was never changed to touch cashiers screen. She kept the same glove on WHEN CUSTOMERS BEHIND ME ORDERED THEY'RE GOODIES.

I love this place!! As soon as you walk in you feel warm and welcomed and they always have a verity! So chances are you can satisfy your sweet tooth! Super cute space

I wanted to like this place but unfortunately I won't be going back. I got three cupcakes, all different flavors, but they all just tasted overwhelmingly of almond extract and barely any flavoring that the cupcake was supposed to taste like. I feel like I make better cupcakes at home. Going into the store was also not very welcoming, the employee working was just aloof. We were the only customers in there so I would expect them to be more friendly, especially for a relatively new business.

Went here a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you, that banana pudding cheese Cake was so bomb!!!! I bought some pastries as well and they did not disappoint. Just look at photo if you need anymore proof. The staff was so friendly and helpful as well. I don't hype up many places, but I love to see a woman/family owned business doing great things in Cleveland. This place is a hole in the wall, but I can't wait to see all the places The Boujie Bakery goes. Do yourself a favoor and stop in.

Best cupcakes in Cleveland! The diverse menu changes often and the items keep getting better and better. This is my favorite spot to stop for an afternoon treat, whether I want a milkshake, cupcake, funnel cake, or to try something new. The service is fantastic and the store is kept remarkably clean.I can't imagine the pettiness it takes to write a bad review about such a lovely local business and I highly recommend the bakery to everyone I know.
