Eugene's - The food was super overpriced. $30 for ome burger, fries and a cucumber salad is crazy. It was so hyped up on social media I decided to give it a go. Highly disappointed. The water cups look like they've been used for years on end. The gatorade water bucket was less than ideal. The cup looked cloudy and we preferred to stay thirsty instead. The cook/cashier was nice. We had to look around and figure out that everything is do it yourself as there was no one there to greet us or explain that. Be prepared to pay 3% more just to use a card. The place was a decent size and the trivia / games were a nice touch. The bar was unique and the patio was probably the best part. This place was definitely not what I expected and probably wouldn't come back.

I love it here. I have for years. It's welcoming and generally quiet. Getting busier recently especially with the addition of the food. I'm glad because I never want this place to go out business. I rented the side room and had my thirtieth birthday party here and it is one of my favorite memories. No cost to rent, just a reservation and possibility a slight minimum but I don't entirely remember. So reasonable and easy. The mead is fantastic and each one is very different. Metropolis is my favorite. I've moved out of town but make it a point to come back every time I visit.

Cute, original spot with woodsy, cozy decor and an enormous menu of meads and sours. Seating is all big tables and benches, great for big groups which is most of what we were surrounded by. It was hard to get a sense of what things would taste like before ordering, so we just went for it. Good Midwestern vibes with some unexpected flavors. My only wish is that it was open later! We wandered in around 9:15 and only had about an hour to zip through our drinks before it seemed like they were closing up.

I attended a private event here Friday evening. We had the front room off the main bar area. There are big barn type doors that close off the alcove to the rest of the bar. Gorgeous blown glass chandelier and cozy little area with picnic table type seating. Nice buffet with crispy chicken sliders and mini (they were almost regular sized) burger sliders. Wonderful buttered bun with all the condiments and add ons you could want. Beautiful cheese tray and a platter of munchies, dried fruits and nuts. Mac & cheese was creamy and dreamy. Crowd pleasing side. Bar service offers wine, ciders and a large array of craft brews. My faves were the Oktoberfest and the Pilsner. Stonework detail gives an old world feel. Lots of wood. Great neighborhood hangout.

Fun place to grab some food which was really good! We went for the variety of beers and the food was a nice bonus! Just a few friends looking for a place to hang for a little bit after work. Friendly staff - bartenders were awesome! I'd say generally a kinda chill vibe and atmosphere. Will definitely recommend!

Where do I start? My son and his now wife, Ryan and Nikki, selected this place for their wedding ceremony and reception. This was our 4th wedding (and thankfully or last) for our kids. And it could not have been as spectacular as anyone could imagine. First the establishment went all out to make it the best day of their first day as husband and wife. Staff was there immediately if needed! Have a question? They have the answer! Need something? They were there to get it. Last minute changes? No sweat! Of all the weddings we, as parents, hosted, this turned out to be the best! The food!! Three words...simply the best! And that was said by all in attendance! From the snacks between the service and reception, food was temperature correct. Ample amount so everyone got enough. And staff was there pronto! The specialty coffee drinks (Brides request) were fantastic and I for tried all, many times overThe layout was perfect, from the food service area, to the outdoor area for the ceremony, to the set for the reception, could ask for more.Unfortunately I cannot remember the lead staff member's name which deserves to be recognized! She AND her staff were truly caring and enjoyable. My wife and I, as well as our son and daughter-in-law, cannot express our thanks for a fantastic day and night to remember!!

The Bottle House Brewery and Mead Hall seems like a cool joint for a hangout with friends and to enjoy one of the MANY craft brews, cocktails, and specialty drinks. Tables are for groups and many people seem to be enjoying board games with friends while having a drink, food, and socializing! Eugene Kitchen serves up some delicious food, made fresh to order, and brought to your table. The ambiance is definitely relaxed, friendly and laidback. Would come back again!
