Will travel for Blue Door. It took me upward of 3 years to finally make my way from Cleveland to Cuyahoga Falls to dine at The Blue Door Cafe. I want to say it was worth the wait - because it's spectacular - except that I'm kicking myself that I waited so long given how damn good the food is.From the outside, it looks like there are only going to be a few tables inside, but the space is much more expansive once you walk in. Just to the left of the door is the pastry case and bar, and then beyond is the bulk of the seating, including some booths and high tops. I came in on a Wednesday for brunch and the place was already buzzing 30 minutes into service. They do not do reservations and since it's so popular you'd do well to either come at off-peak hours or be prepared for a wait. The Blue Door locally sources and makes from scratch most of their dishes. There were so many things that called to me that I took a very long time finally settling on the chicken and waffles. This is no ordinary chicken and waffles - the waffle has jalepenos in it and was exceptionally crisp, and the chicken is in smaller strips making it much easier to get waffle and chicken in every bite. It comes with a side of maple miso sauce that I wish they sold by the bottle, and I ordered a side of the sawmill sausage gravy because why not make it more decadent?6 stars if I could - can't wait to go back.

Food was delicious! People very nice. Charming little brunch spot. I will try to go every time I'm here for work! Only knock is it's pricey for brunch.... Don't get me wrong I didn't feel cheated because the food was delish but it stung just a little. I'd rather just take 1/2 a star but I can't go full 5 because of the price. I think my bill was $50 for cappuccino, cinnamon roll and my entree.Skip the cinnamon roll unless you're going to eat it in house and warm- didn't travel well.Cappuccino was excellent- and I'm a snob almost never drinking them in the States. I would order one again here. And my main was amazing as well.....

Been meaning to drop by here for awhile - as a note, pastries are only available in the morning/early afternoon. I went through the drive thru and tried a croissant, blueberry scone and they threw in a banana bread on the house since there was a lot!

Getting in a the crack of dawn to enjoy the wealth of pastries. The bakers start their shift at 10 pm and everything is newly baked that morning.

This place fills up quick!!! Smaller location! We came for breakfast but heard they offer dinner as well! They have a huge pastry display that you can choose from when you dine in AND through the drive through. The bacon was to die for... the rest was just simple breakfast!Got a cinnamon roll on the way out and it was very yummy!

Service was great! Food was good. Prices were yikes! Outdoor seating was comfortable but the sunlight was a little strong even with the translucent roofing.I got the corned beef hash. It was a little less hash-y than I preferred. That is, it was cooked fine but the ingredients and the flavors weren't well blended. It was more like corned beef bits, potato bits, carrot bits, et cetera on a shared plate. I'm used to my hash sticking together better. On the plus for service, one of our drinks spilled and our server, who was also the drink maker, brought out another on the house. Yay.

This is a must on your list for any local foodie who is looking for delicious food and excellent service! The atmosphere feels like you are in a European cafe. Join the waitlist and check in when you get here because the restaurant waiting area is very small. We had the bananas foster French toast with rum rice pudding and it was SCRUMPTIOUS!! My husband had the strawberry blintzes and not a crumb was left. The potatoes were outstanding as well.

One of the best, cozy yet upscale restaurants in Cuyahoga Falls! The banana fosters French toast was a very filling and decedent dessert, and the tomato bisque is the best I've ever had. As always, the service is amazing even with their best Sunday rush crowd!
