I visit Lorain a lot. Born and raised there. I have my old standby favorite restaurants but am always looking for new places to try. This place was pretty busy on a Sunday Morning, as expected. I stopped in at just the right time and was able to get a table with no wait. The place is stuck in time, but, I like that. Like a diner plucked out of the 80's as far as decor. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Food was good. I just got a simple breakfast but my eggs were done over medium as requested. Bacon was crispy and the hash browns fresh off the griddle. Prices are great too. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Looking at how the parking and building looked I wasn't expecting too much. Over all it was fairly decent. It has a Roseies, Chris, Sugar creek vibe. Walk in seated promptly, nice wait staff. Orange juice good. Coffee was my friends go to. They drank 2 cups so can't be bad. I had the hillbilly breakfast. It was huge (see picture) and was about 7 dollars. Not bad at all. Delicious. My only complaint was the bacon. I like cooked but soft and the bacon came out extra crispy. No big... but no good either. I plan on trying again with my mom when she comes to town.

Wow, where to begin...My experience here started off ok in the beginning: we've been usually consistent when ordering the same, simple breakfast - but now, with great regret we chose a new adventure that day; with our evolving tastes we decided on different items this go around. Afterall, how difficult should that be? Well the unassuming spot with the leaning sign and it's crooked pole out front, has turned into a carnival and we ain't takin' a seat on this Hell ride EVER AGAIN.This time, our visit deviated from the norm. Kielbasa was a $3.99 side order to replace another meat. What a joke. Was a terribly small piece of garbage. We also recieved blueberry pancakes that were a pile of waste containing raw batter inside, noticing once a fork pierced and punctured that sloppy, oozing goo.Doomed from the point of finally being seated, the two of us waited close to 40 minutes for the bounty of their dumpster diving. We honestly thought the cook had to have a case of diarrhea or was taking too many smoke breaks while workin' that griddle!!"Corned beef hash" was horrendous! Would never have fed that puke to a pack of hungry strays let alone served that on a plate to another human being. Not only did it resemble vomit, but it will make you want to throw up at it's mere sight. Frightening to say the least. Again, this cook had to have been under the spell of something supernatural because of how low the standard was. The inside of that microwave must look like an outhouse toilet hole, splatters n' all.The waitress was clueless as if she was anticipating prescription meds to kick in -- that or she had a nasty hangover on Mother's Day. Poor thing. The owner walks around and says hello to people like he's a middle eastern Frank Sinatra or some big deal at a greasy spoon working the room. God Bless 'em!If you enjoy stale bread for toast slathered with off-brand margarine, then you're in for a treat. I might suggest wearing latex gloves when handling any condiments there such as ketchup bottles or containers of syrup. Filthy. Sounds of sneezing and coughing will make you feel like you're at an E.R. or hospice visiting a loved one.I gave them the chance to right the wrongs of such a deplorable excuse for a meal, however they chose to keep the bill the same without removing what was owed for that messhall slop. Oh well, never again. I will no longer brag of their inexpensive deals prior to arriving by 11am. I write this to let you know to save your money and spend it on making your own food, or you can opt for a soup kitchen. The Beachcliff Diner has been reduced to trash.

It was so good! Price is right too! They make homemade French onion soup in-house. Now it's not gonna come in a crock bubbling at the top but let me tell you something. It is damn tasty.!! I highly recommend it.

Food was good & there was plenty of it. Prices are listed in the menu photo (not all pages pictured). Service was good & efficient. They tended to us and we didn't have to wait for anything. The ambiance is very old school inside. Nothing elaborate.
