Noticed that my review of The Barn Restaurant in Delta needs an update. With the Covid pandemic over (forever I hope) we've been able to return to some of our favorite places. Locally, this diner is known for comfort foods, daily specials, friendly people and better than good food. They do not disappoint when it comes to homestyle breakfasts. Tasty eggs done perfectly, crisp delicious bacon and home fries to top the meal off. Their biscuits and gravy are chosen by many. The coffee is fresh, aromatic and plentiful. I've noticed that they take credit cards now as well as cash and see many carry out orders which I'm sure I'll be getting some of their burgers, patty melts, fries and tater tots (my lunch go to treats). Once you've stopped at The Barn you feel transported to a happy place. Smiles in the greetings from the employees make you glad you've stopped. Enjoy!

Last week we were traveling through Ohio and ended up stopping at the Barn. This was totally a RURAL restaurant with a country feel throughout. But that's ok with us. We did feel like we were the odd people that everyone looked at when we arrived. There was a large group of steel mill / metal recycling employees in a back room that created a challenge for the tiny grille and temporary line cook that was preparing the food. So all that being said it took an hour to get our food! The restaurant was clean and the quality of food was what we expected it to be. The breakdown was our order totally got passed by other orders that were placed well after ours until I asked about it at the fifty minute mark.At that point the waitress took charge of the cook and got it made. They were very apologetic and said the cook was not their regular cook. The cook also apologized sincerely. In all reality it probably was because we had MICHIGAN plates on our van. Ha Ha buckeyes!!! GO BLUE!!!

This is the kind of locally run restaurant tjat I strive to find and was our last stop of this particular vacation. Despite the name it's not really a "barn" but that didn't stop it from being awesome. It has lots of touches of down homey sorts of things everywhere you look in here. The service was top notch as well. Now onto my food review....4 Piece Chicken Dinner With Onion Rings And Cottage Cheese What Is It: 4 pieces of honey seasoned fried chicken served with two sides which I got cottage cheese and onion rings. Presentation: Pretty decent plating here. Everything looked proper and tasty. Solid if unspectacular. 7 out of 10Taste/ Final Analysis: This was a very different take on fried chicken than I think I've ever had. The honey was the dominant flavour here and that sweetness really elevated this chicken to a very high level. The sweetness soaks all the way through and you get it in all its glory in every bite. Cottage cheese is cottage cheese although it's thickness was a plus. The onion rings were solid but I always prefer a dipping sauce with onion rings which was lacking here. Good coating on them though. Definitely try this chicken if you get a chance though. It's delicious. Fried Chicken: 10 out of 10Onion Rings: 6.5 out of 10

Terrible to say the least. My wife and I both had salads. Watched the young lady use her bare hands to dig out the lettuce, tomatoes and onions out of containers. Who knows where those hands have been. The flies in the restaurant itself were overpowering as we sat at our table. My wife mentioned it as we paid our bill and all the waitress could say was "yeah". Maybe the Fulton County Health Department should make a visit. Won't ever be back.

Good if you're hungry. Saw multiple people preparing food with their bare hands, and saw a woman pick up fries that had fallen onto the counter and put them back on the plate. No gloves at this restaurant. Also heard the male cook yelling at the waitstaff. Not great.

My daughter and I visited the Barn restaurant July 31st. She had never been there and was very pleased with the food and service and definitely wants to go back. I have been there several times and have always received excellent food and service. I had the taco that has a homemade shell and it was very good. The waitress stopped several times to see if we needed anything (we didn't - because the helpings were good sized and we had plenty). She brought our bill to the table and I paid it... she brought the receipt... and then we left. As we were getting into our car, the waitress came and gave me my credit card that I had left on the table. I thought that was very nice because many people would have kept the card and used it. We will certainly go back to the Barn when we're nearby (we live about an hour away).
