The 1899 Pub

This place is dangerous . When you're upstairs you can feel the floor moving and it's scary . I feel like this ancient building was not built for this kind of crowd. I had a very bad feeling about it and don't wish any of my loved ones in that place.

What a cool place! Dollar bills everywhere! Not much else to say except this might be the coolest dive bar in Willoughby. Great beer selections and cool customers.

We walked into a lot of bars that night and walked back out because the music was so loud inside. The 1899 was great. We could actually have a conversation while enjoying our beer. Oh, and they had $3 draft craft beer! Wow! Let that Fat Head flow!!Excellent beer selection on tap. Nice outdoor space, too! Will be back!

Cute little divevar except it's a little cleaner. The bar tender was really nice and the drinks were cheap which is always a plus. I've been here before with my friends and we did like the patio area which had good music playing . If you're looking for a place to grab a drink and then leave this is it.

We stopped in to have a drink and relax on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is a dive bar type feel but maybe a little cleaner. They do have a jukebox if you want to play music. There's a nice patio with a bar if you prefer to sit outside. I noticed they did have a large selection of beer, if you're into that sort of thing. The service was good and the drinks were average. A good place to chillax with friends and have a drinky poo!

I have been coming to this pub for 30 years after classes at Lakeland college. I took my wife from Texas here to Cleveland to show her the places I went to in college and the is the treatment I received. This is the first time this bar staff has treated my wife and I as low life's. My friend had bought us a buy back and the bar staff after 8:00 pm 11/4/22. Told me that it was not on his was on his bill. I Watched it being changed on his tab. Please beware of the bar staff. You can't trust them.

The service was the best. Friendly, attentive,. The setting was a bit off- putting. Was it a pub, sports bar, day care for parents who wanted to get rid of kids so that they could golf or let the kids learn. It was sort of comfortable but a bit on the edge. I would go back though. The food was really ok.
