That Little Italian Kitchen

Ordered their pizza last night. It was so delicious and flavorful. So much better than fast food pizza (Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc).I definitely recommend them. Great flavors of Gelato too.

To be fair this review is for the new restaurant on Cleveland Avenue in North Canton, Ohio. We had five o'clock reservations for a party of four. We arrived five minutes early but were promptly seated. Our sever was adequate but not real personable. After being seated we were moved to another table but that is fine. Our food arrived within fifteen minutes which is quick in my opinion. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan with Penne pasta. We started with bread and dipping oil. The bread was soft and not made in house and the oil was good. The eggplant was crispy, warm and good although a little soggy in the middle. The pasta was warm at best and there was some dried sauce on top. The pasta was done but needed more sauce. All in all it was just okay. My wife ordered Boston Scrod and said it was as cold and had some seasoning on it. She added it did not have a lot of taste. The pasta that she ordered with the Scrod was cold. The other couple we were with received a sausage Stromboli which was not the original version they ordered. The restaurant just opened so they may be working out their processes, I don't know.

Good food and great service. They have two locations. Great homemade Gelato too... ....

We frequently go to That Little Kitchen. Good food. So I made reservations a week early for the room where you can have wine for my husbands 70 birthday. We arrived at 5:00 with 6 people in our party only to be told that we did not have reservations for that room and they had us set up in the dining room where no wine is allowed. They gave the room to a party of 14. Very very disappointed. I even made our reservations in person and watched the guy write everything in the book. When had the nerve to tell we couldn't even have our bottle of wine on the table. So unhappy.

The parking situation is not quite enough for how busy this place can be, that bothered me at first. Then they had us reserved for the next day and not the day I asked for (today). So not a great first impression. However, they made it right and got us a table pretty quickly. They did seem a little overwhelmed tonight by the amount of business they were doing. They were all friendly and helpful despite everything. They seemed a tad disorganized, but we did end up in a good place. Bread and dip were good. The wedding soup was good. My lasagna was really good and the wife's shrimp tortellini was great as well. Everything with a Coke as well and it came in less than $39. Not bad. I know they're a new-er establishment so I think they will become more organized with time. Will eat here again. FYI, Make a reservation, don't just show up. It's not that big inside.

My wife and I made reservations for dinner. She had the sausage, peppers and onions over penne. It was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. I had the Chicken Parmigiana over spaghetti. It was probably the best chicken that I have eaten. It was crispy on the outside and absolutely tender to cut. The spices were spot on. The service was excellent. We were well taken care of with just the right amount of attention. Our drinks were never empty. The atmosphere was unique. It is a house turned into a restaurant with both small tables and larger tables as well as booths. If you are in the mood for Italian food this is a must visit.

Another trip to Canton around dinner time meant another trip to TLIk! Finally tore myself away from the pasta bakes (I've had them here every time I've visited) for an eggplant Parmesan. It's a fave of mine so I am always nervous when ordering it somewhere that I've never tried it. I was relieved to discover that theirs was delicious! Perfectly evenly cut slices- not too thick - just soft enough inside, with a perfect thin crispy breading on the outside that afforded a perfect crunch! Presented atop a nice sized bed of spaghetti noodles with a generous coating of their delicious tangy marinara sauce - excellent! Another win for That Little Italian Kitchen!

Great Service. Definitely worth the wait. All the food was outstandingly delicious. 10/10 It is a small quaint place with a family atmosphere. Christine was our server. She was amazing, attentive, and truly genuine and personable. So happy we picked this place.

Great spot! The Bruschetta was amazing, mozzarella sticks were very fresh and tasty! Service was good and staff was nice.

Chicken parm sandwich is great..bread is made in house and perfect crispness to it. Small little diner type atmosphere with an ice cream shop attached to it
