Ended up at Taza for an early dinner on a Sunday. The place was pretty quiet, so it was nice to be able to relax and chat with my group. Our table had the baba and dawali appetizers, and then beef kafta, shawarma plate, and shish kebabs for dinner. I also had a cocktail - I think the blue paloma. My drink was good, not particularly special but not bad. Next time I would probably just go for a glass of wine. The food however was excellent. 10 out of 10. My kafta was exceptionally flavorful, and the vegetables still had plenty of bite to them. My mom and sister felt similarly about their meals. The appetizers were delicious as well, especially the dawali, and we appreciated the za'atar oil served with the fresh pitas. I am a visitor in Cleveland. I normally try not to go to chains when I'm traveling, but I'm so glad I broke my rule. I wanted to come back and we were only here for a couple days. Highly recommend!

I struggled with this one. Our server was genuinely good. She was attentive and was also handeling a number of tables very well. She was really good. She made the night. The food I thought was mediocre. We got the hummus, a salad entree and vegetarian entree. Vegetarian entree was just ok. Not a lot of variety in the veggies and a bit over cooked. The rice was good. The salad my partner got she liked. Again it had a lot of salad but I thought lighter on the rest of the vegetables, olives and such. Then we got the sampler baklava for dessert. That was very good. My overall experience was just ok. Food prices were a bit high for what we got and it was just ok. So I can't really give them props for that. It's a big room. Full bar. Very dark in there. Plenty of parking. Sat us right away. Staff super nice. But food was just ok. And I thought prices were a bit high. Rather go to Aladdin.

In CLE and went with my wife to meet a friend. They picked Taza and it was perfect option for us. Appetizers and our main course were excellent. Our server did a great job of recommending items. Good size crowd but never seemed to be that loud so we were able to have conversation without having to yell. Great experiencee and tasty meals.

My previous experiences at Taza were positive, but my latest visit was disappointing. The Jebneh appetizer was not served as described and lacked flavor. The Shawarma dishes looked different from their advertised versions, and the quality of the ingredients used was subpar. The Hummus was overly salty, and the chicken and beef were dry. The Garlic Spinach was burnt and inedible. When I brought this to the owner, he seemed unconcerned and still charged us for the dish. It appears that Taza no longer prioritizes quality or customer satisfaction. I recommend exploring other dining options in the area for authentic Lebanese cuisine. There are other Lebanese restaurants, and really, the Turkish restaurants in our area are fabulous. Since the cuisine is similar, I will go Turkish instead. I had a good time at some of our local Turkish restaurants as well.

I went to Taza last weekend when my professor mentioned it on a whim! It's in a really nice location with a bunch of shops close by for strolling afterwards. It has a nice cozy vibe and the servers were great! To share we had the vegetarian feast and I loved the falafel, a must get! It went great with the free pita as well. For my entree I got the small Shawarma Plate which was the perfect portion for me. I would definitely come back and try more dishes family style.

Solid Lebanese food conveniently close to the Trader Joes in Beachwood. They give free pita as a side and it's fantastic when it's fresh out of the oven. Portion sizes are also pretty generous for the most part (although given the prices, it's still a little more expensive than expected), so you'll probably leave feeling reasonably full. We went family style and got the vegetarian feast and mixed grill II, which I'd recommend if you want to try a little bit of everything and want a balanced meat vs veggie spread. One of my friends also got Chicken Shawarma, which she ended up recommending too.Service was great. The place feels pretty cozy and relaxed, although it tends to be an older crowd/people coming with their families..

Spoiler Alert: I had the BEST Lebanese food of my life yesterday when I had carry-out at Taza Lebanese Grill. I noticed there aren't many reviews and pictures of ordering Taza for carry-out only. Hopefully, this review can offer some insight and information for those potential patrons who aren't planning on dining in.I ordered via phone a small order of chicken kafta entree with tahini sauce on the side. The cost was $16. It was ready a couple minutes before my stated pick up time a couple hours after I called in. I brought it home and dug in right away for dinner.First was the Lebanese rice, a cinnamon-y sweet rice with a nice crunch. Then I dug into the grilled vegetables, which is a great, healthy side on what ended up being a very filling dinner. I do wish they were a little more "grilled." Then I ate the star of the show, the two chicken kaftas. There was SO MUCH FLAVOR I can't even begin to describe the amazing spices that were used. I could eat the chicken all day! The whole dish came with two containers of tahini on the side. I only used half of one as tahini is very caloric, although very tasty. What makes Taza an amazing experience were the 3 surprise homemade little pitas that were included in my order. They also included one if their very large pita wraps as well. But I'm obsessed with the complimentary pillow-y bread. I want 1000 of these little delights. A day later and I'm still thinking about them. They provided za'atar olive oil dipping sauce but I rarely waste calories on sauces so I barely used it. This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Cleveland that I've tried so far. I can't wait to go back!!!

This is a great place for vegans, there are so many vegan options available. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, all were delicious. We ordered the loubie green beans, hummos with bread, hot sauce on the side, falafel and spicy cauliflower. So good. Next time, we'll order a couple of vegan entrees and try those.

The servers at Taza are all great, but CONNOR was exceptional! On a recent busy evening, he was highly attentive and friendly, more than I might have expected when he was pulled in multiple directions. When a few special accommodations were needed, he delivered with warmth and charm. He has a wonderful manner that's extremely positive and light-hearted. He's a fantastic addition to the staff!!!
