Tasty Garden

We love this place! We moved and still make the drive to get food here! The owners are so nice and the food is consistently good. One order typically serves as lunch for the next day!! Highly recommend.

My sisters and I are passing through Canton, on our way to a family event in Michigan. We are from North Carolina and wanted to try a family-owned restaurant, not a chain.Ming Lee and her husband, Mike, welcomed us and prepared us a delicious meal. We ordered egg rolls, egg drop soup, pork-fried rice, chow mien and chicken with snow peas. The portions were generous and presented beautifully.Thanks again for a great meal!!

Meh. Food was generic. Egg roll was weird and neither hubby or I could eat it. Wantons were hard.

Great food and very nice, hardworking owners! We love their food & prices are great too. We didn't even know they were there for five years! Hidden gem!

Let's just say we'll try any place once. Our regular Asian takeout place is closed after a fire in an adjacent store. So we tried TG. Once.

Best Chinese in the area! The owner is very kind, always makes small talk and remembers who we are when we come in. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. Highly recommend.

We tried Tasty Garden a couple months ago and they were very good. I don't know what happened but we will never go back. The portions are so small, they were more of an appetizer than a meal. The chicken and broccoli was tasteless and there were several pieces of rotten, yellow broccoli. We got pints and it was more like a cup of chicken and broccoli because they added the rice in the same container instead of a separate container like every other Chinese restaurant I have ever gone to. So I guess if you include the rice, it was a pint. Awful.

Just ok, wouldn't order here again..We ordered orange chicken, veggie lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, and wanted general tso's, which was not on the menu, but they said governor's chicken was the same thing...odd because tso's is spicy and general's was not listed as such. Also had fried rice and egg rolls.Pros: there were lots of veggies in the lo mein, which was refreshing. Good customer service.Cons: the chicken was DRY...all of it. Everything was underseasoned. Dishes that were supposed to be spicy were not at all (even asked for extra spicy on the general's and it still wasn't much). The sweet and sour chicken was already sauced and was packaged together with the white rice, which soaked up a lot of the sauce (not necessarily all bad, but certainly not the norm).Other notes: if you want Chinese in 10 minutes, this is not the place. We had a 30 minute wait on a Sunday night. Also, I am 98% sure there was cinnamon in the egg rolls. Maybe just from Chinese 5 spice, but it was a bit overpowering and new to me. Beware if you're allergic.
