Taki's Greek Kitchen

It was my first time here and I was very impressed! We walked in on a Saturday evening, it was 5:30. There was only one table occupied, but apparently all the other tables were spoken for with reservations bc we were told we needed to be out by 6:30. We were seated next to the fireplace and it was super cozy! Our server was warm, welcoming, positive, and friendly. She was awesome! We got spinach pies and the spicy hummus for an app and both were delicious!! We each got a "gyro" for our meal. My husband got a chicken one and I got the eggplant one. We agreed they were both good, but would want to try something else next time. The surprising winner was the little side salad our meals came with. The dressing was DELICIOUS ! I loved how many vegetarian options there were here! We 100% recommended and will come visit again!

If you're craving hearty, delicious Greek food and need it fast, this place is a must-visit. The lamb was so tender it practically fell off the bone, and it paired perfectly with the tomato-based orzo casserole. The salad was lightly dressed and the fresh dill added a burst of flavor that made it stand out.The kids' meal was not only reasonably priced but also healthy and generous in portion. Service was top-notch--my waiter was both knowledgeable and attentive, making sure all our needs were met.A delightful surprise was the complimentary candy at the entrance and throughout the restaurant, which added a sweet touch to our dining experience. The pita and hummus of the day were a standout, and I'm already looking forward to trying the next flavor. The patio is beautifully decorated with lush plants and charming decor, creating a relaxing setting for a pleasant evening out. This place checks all the boxes and definitely makes me want to come back for more!

My wife and I went to Taki's because a friend of mine recommended it and he was right about the service and the food. The had a Valentine special that was simply amazing. The fireplace was centered in the room and the lighting was perfect. My steak was cooked to perfection. The place is small and cozy and you had better make reservations in advance.

Taki's Greek Kitchen is a hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. It is a small, family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Greek cuisine. The menu features a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. I had the lamb shank, which was slow-cooked and falling off the bone. It was served with a side of roasted vegetables and rice. I ordered take out and waited at the bar for my order. I over heard fun conversation between the bartender and what seemed several regular patrons. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. My order came in an acceptable wait time and was packaged perfectly for transport. Overall, I highly recommend Taki's Greek Kitchen. It is a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Greek meal.

I tried this restaurant on Saturday night and boy was it busy. The service was very friendly and prompt and me & my party were seated at the bar. If you plan to go for dinner I do highly recommend reservations. The food was very good and was some of the best Greek cuisine I have ever had. I definitely will be back as this was a very good experience.

Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner.....That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful.Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!

As authentic as it gets, short of being in Greece. Lamb Shank has healing properties, honestly.Come here, FAST! You won't be disappointed.

The service was second to none. Not sure why we have waited so long to come back. Did not have reservations, but they made an exception. The sea bass was amazing, and looking forward to trying new things

Local Avon Lake restaurant that we frequent often. The staff is always welcoming and the owner takes great pride in his food and restaurant . We love the Meatball appetizer and are fans of the ROKA salad . We had many of the other entrees and love them all . If u are looking for great Mediterranean food then go to Taki's .

My wife and I visited Taki's early this evening. We did not have a reservation, but were seated without hesitation. We were stoping for an early lite dinner and had decided to skip any appetizers and just order mains. The apps were impressive as they offered both hot and cold ones. We have enjoyed them on past visits. I also ordered a glass of wine which was promptly served from a nice wine list. Both entrees were served extremely fast and on point. My only issue was my wife had requested ketchup and I also reminded the waiter that we did not receive a bread basket. He acknowledged both but got caught up servicing other tables. Half way through our entrees, he saw he missed us and corrected the miscue.
